Speculations Zoro, Sanji and Usopp are to be named Luffy’s senior Officers within the crew

Similar to how Kaido has the All Stars, Big Mom had the sweet commanders and Shanks has Beckman, Roo and Yassop, the world will view those 3 as the most senior officers within the crew.

Similarly Black Beard will have Shirew, Laffite and Van Auger as his 3 prominent senior officers post-Elbaf.

Why Usopp and not Jinbe? Because he was there the longest?

These positions are usually assigned by strength.

If we go by seniority, Nami was there before Sanji.
It’s because I believe that Usopp is actually nerfed by being a coward, strength in modern Shonen isn’t physical only like DB and 90s anime/manga. A normal human can be as powerful as the strongest monster not physically but by utilizing tools and being cunning.

I think Usopp’s cunningness and utility of tools can bring him to a level higher than Jinbe but he’s too coward to think of utilizing it

I was thinking Zoro Sanji and Nami whenever luffy is busy or incapacitated it's usually one of those 3 who take commands and give orders

Eos Usopp will be lucky to reach Loguetown Smoker level.

His main power will be some stupid gadgets and obv haki. Without his obv haki he's completely trash. Hell even EB Arlong is still more impressive than him.

It would be an insult to the légendaire fishman jinbei that lussop would be named a senior officer instead of jinbe. Lussop is fodder level, heck many fodders show case more courage than lussop. Luffop has always been a burden to the crew and its allies. Last to date was izo dying protecting him for no reason. He always prétends to like advantures, at the same time he is the first one running away in the sight of danger. Post ts lussop has a weak spirit. Thankfully luffy started carling him out 2 chapters ago, meaning that he can nolonger trust him to do anything.

I liked pre ts lussop but, the current one turned into à joke.

Unless I've missed or forgotten something, I'm pretty sure there are no officers in SHP.

Officers for what btw? Luffy doesn't want a fleet.

SHPs are all equals except for Luffy, the captain.

Usopp is neither senior in power nor authority, he's a weak fodder and he'll always be a weak fodder, hence the weak trio, a canonical group that he's a part of, Luffy's most senior officers are Zoro, Sanji and Jinbe.
Those 3 + Yamato would be quite the shield. Just ask yourselves, if Alabasta or Amazon Lily would have been attacked again - would Luffy trust Usopp or one of his top 4 to handle it?

If not for Green Bull Yamato would already have joined, it speaks volumes of how high Luffy rates her that he knew she could handle almost any enemy on her own.

To be honest it goes
1 Zoro - chocked when he lost to Enel. Trusts him with any enemy, even Kaido & Big Mom, until he needed rest.
2 Yamato - trusted to take care of Wano on his behalf against likely strong foes.
3 Jinbei - trusted him all the way to the roof top. Only hesitant vs Big Mom.
4 Sanji - berated him for being slow on way to roof top and at the moment doesnt trust him as much as the top 3.

Sanji, Nami, and Zoro always lead the crew.
Sanji specifically led even when Nami was there when they became the Curlyhats back in Dressrosa.
They both also were leading just past arc in Egghead.
Zoro maintained order during Water 7.

I honestly don't recall Usopp ever leading the other strawhats.

He led chopper during the fight with Mr. 4 but I think the biggest thing is that Usopps the only Straw Hat that’s ever inspired Luffy.

Usopp is the weakest Straw Hat and has only demonstrated leadership over Chopper. Nami makes far more sense as a senior commander from a leadership standpoint, and Jinbe makes more sense considering both leadership and power.
