That's because you guys insist on ignoring the fact that Navy despite Akainu saying they are not going... it's STILL fucking eluded to them coming ... in someway... the NAVY WILL COME and end up wanting to go to Wano... Oda wouldn't waste those much screentime about whether they will go or not if he doesn't intend to involve them in some way.. shape or form...
So... for a STRONG commander like Smoothie... I'd say Vice Admiral "Momosagi" who was a "previously a candidate" to become an admiral is actually a TRUE GOOD LEGITIMATE FIGHT
Another character Oda may involve her into the upcoming war... is Boa Hancock... right now she's confident in her stay at Amazon Lily... but what if things got out of hands... and she had to leave the island and she decided to head to where LUFFY is.... either for help or for refuge... so she may end up getting involved in this big mess of a war also... and she's more than capable to fight Smoothie in my personal opinion
So... Oda basically if he wants to give Smoothie a TRUE GOOD FIGHT... I see those two to be the best two option to get involved in this war...
As for Compote... well she's veteran.. but she was NOT GIVEN much attention as someone like Daifuku/Oven... she she's more than likely can be handled by a LOT of characters who are in the alliance... or just stay in background like so many others who will be off-screened anyway LOL
I mean that sounds great, but as of now its based on conjecture and hope that former Shichibukai will join the war and Sword (Koby) will possibly recruit them. Id honestly love it, but my point still stands that as of yet, there are no "powerful" females (save for maybe Carrot in sulong?) Strong enough to take on Smoothie/Campote. I didnt ask this question out of spite, I simply dont know who'd be strong enough currently in Wano.
Dont get me wrong, ID LOVE Hancock in the least to be recruited by Koby to join, because I personally doubt they actually fought. It could be what Oda was excited about in terms of Hancock. Now, for Buggy/Weevil/Mihawk, im not so sure.
Hancock vs. Smoothie was be absolutely amazing.
Koby vs Daifuku would be cool.
Other marines? Its a great idea.
And its the right time for those characters to come back, and the Drake/Sword subplot DOES need to pay off.
How many days has it actually been since Drake Spoke to Koby? A few days? The Reverie is only a week long, and so far they are 14 days into Wano, so Im curious if Koby has the time to recruit her and her crew and go back towards Wano.
Granted, Im one of the few people who thinks Onigashimas raid is going to end up bad, and the battle will continue back at the capital after another week or two. Hawkins said Luffy has a 15% chance of surviving the MONTH, its only been 2 weeks.
Edit: And yes, I totally agree about Momosagi. Perhaps Chaton also comes and perhaps both are related to Sword. I dont think the regular marines are coming to Wano though
