Yes. He did that for Sunnachi as well. Oda had Momo say he learned Wano specific dialogue from Zoro. Then Oda in an SBS said Wano citizens Went to East blue. He even says in the SBS “They are related to someone we are familiar with”

Oda made this SBS like in volume 91… Cut to two years later in like Volume 99, Oda just straight up says the person who the wano citizens were related to was Kuina.

And the reason Zoro knows Wano words is Kuina’s grand father

Then recently Oda even went out of his way to break another theory by directly saying that guy who looks like Zoro is NOT Zoro’s father

over and over again Oda keeps doing this and you think he’ll stop?

The thing is tho, Zoro's lineage was never important. His character was always about hard work, him having a special lineage messes up this aspect of Zoro's character.

That's why I think Oda isn't too keen on delving into Zoro's backstory.
