If Oda is building up a connection between Zoro and the Shimotsuki, specifically Ushimaru and Ryuma, it's for a purpose. What that purpose is, we don't know exactly, but it will mean something. Even the Sunnachi point you claim didn't lead to anything when it actually did. It's confirmed Zoro learned the term from Kozaburo who forged his blade Enma and came from Wano, and in the same SBS Oda confirmed that, he teased Zoro's bloodline. And here we have Ryuma and Ushimaru resembling Zoro almost to a T, and characters acknowledging the resemblance.

Theorizing he has blood ties to Wano and the Shimotsuki is the reasonable conclusion.

@thedarkdragon11 You still think there’s like an arc or plotline after Wano that has that much relevance to Zoro that his lineage would matter?

because the speech bubble where oda says that Ryuma also had 1 eye is highlighted , impling there is a big mistery behind it.
Oda said he planned on Zoro having 1 eye from the start of the series , in his interview with the creator of ruroni kenshin , when said author asked him why Zoro has 1 eye Oda replied with silence , it's not just a random detail added without tought.

Also scars are ALWAYS important in One Piece
Luffy chest scar = Akainu rematch
Luffy eye scar = Luffy's self test of bravery in front of Shanks

Shanks scar = related to blackbeard

Zoro chest scar = Mihawk rematch
Zoro eye scar = ????

What does this have to do with Ryuma? Are you saying Zoro has some superpower in his eye that’s. Connected to Ryuma or not?
If he doesn’t have a superpower then hits just a Scar. When we get the flashback Of Mihawk cutting his eye, that will be the if that’s

the most likely explanation would be a hereditary ability , likely connected to Ashura
