But that begs the question why isn't he's always running into the Shimotsuki Clan. Why is his birthday in November a.k.a Shimotsuki. Why was Zoro raised in Shimotsuki Village. Why does he look like Ryuma and urishima who are both Shimotsuki clan members.
For me it's quite clear that if Zoro is from a famous clan then Shimotsuki clan is likely the one he's apart of. Shimotsuki swordsman are also very strong Zoro being from that clan would be even more hype for his character.

Oh? But aren't we talking about direct decendence... People are talking about Zoro being Ryuma's direct descendant not Zoro being the direct descendant of some random grave digger who also lived in Ringo during Ryuma's time
The D clan is obviously NOT family related as you know... Saul isn't family related to Luffy so why should we care that Roger is a D and Luffy is a D
If we're going by this then why is Zoro supposed to be the secret prince of Wano then if all that matters is obscure stuff like Roger is d and Luffy is D... Fuckin Law has much relation to Roger then by this logic so who cares

Yes but Luffy doesnt look like Roger and we were told from the start that the two dont have any relation.
Zoro looks like ryuma and ushimaru, His birthday is in shimotsuki, the village he lived in at the east blue was shimotsuki village and last and most importantly we dont know any of Zoro's relations. The shimotsuki clan being Zoro's family is a very high possibility.

Honestly, I would just prefer if Zoro is the train hard regular bloke who achieves greatness through a git gud mentality.
Between the heavy hitters of the Monkey clan and the supposedly important Vinsmoke family, we already have enough special lineage amongst the Straw Hats. There does not need to be any more.
