If you want shite done then you fetch Houken. :finally:

I think Batei will put up a better fight than Earl Kou. I am expecting a mid diff victory for Shiryou, high diff max.

Sou’ou is probably going to either deal with Earl Rei if the latter comes to Riboku’s aid or he will head straight to Riboku. I doubt Shiryou needs his assistance.

Kaine has been getting disrespected throughout the last portion of this arc. Houken, Batei and even Futei have stolen her thunder. :suresure:

Personally I think Kaine will become more relevant and involved in some action by the time Riboku vs Kanki comes along, you know cause literally everyone else under Riboku will be dead by the end of this arc. :yearight:
Damn y’all are rating Shiryou a lot higher than I am haha, I don’t think Earl Kou was spectacular as a fighter. I think shiryou will need some help to beat Batei
Agree with Lee on this one, you are rating Shi ryou a bit higher.

Batie imo will be able to hold Shi ryou long enough. It will be Shin n others time to shine.
So she should pull out a victory, bt it will be a good fight.

As for Riboku vs Kanki, i am wondering how exactly things will things end up that way.

Will Ou sen die or somehow Riboku will be able to make it to Kanki fast enough to have a battle with him.
Or Maybe Ou sen will get injured and Kanki will take command temporarily?

Real and one of the big shots of his era. Real name is Pang Nuan.

the real man behind the formation and attack strategies of Coalition against Qin.
Pang Nuan irl. Actually a very strong General lol
Yes, he's based on Pang Nuan. But he's not some Bushin Monster like Houken.

Wasn't it Riboku's Job in the manga?

Spoiler: Spoiler Wasn't it Riboku's Job in the manga?
Nahh. Riboku also got fake credit for GekiShin

That's exactly what i thought. Earl Rai also coming there and it would be SouOu stopping him.

Most probably Riboku isn't dying here so in the end when all 3, Shiryou SouOu and Shin would be attacking Riboku's HQ from three sides would cause Riboku to make retreat.

GyouUn sama already forecasted that Kaine isn't dying so she isn't.

She's going to help HSU and Qin in controlling Zhao army and public. Everyone knows Kaine's role and importance. :catsure:

Kingdom manga ruled by woman. So don't sleep on Shiryou.:myman:

Why do you all talk About Kanki vs Riboku as it must happen? Is it hystoricaly based or did i miss something?
Both, historically and based on manga portrayal. Also Kanki vs Riboku would be ten times more interesting than Riboku vs OuSen. Lol
Yes, he's based on Pang Nuan. But he's not some Bushin Monster like Houken.
Pang Nuan was also a physical beast like Houken though there isn't any mention of name Shiyu or Bushin in history.

mean, Riboku was the ''leader/Strategist'' of the coalition war against Qin. He did the strategies didn't he?

Btw. how do you guys know Houken is based on Pang Nuan? Was it mentioned somewhere?
Hara provided those informations himself either in history quotes or outside.

Also in the manga, Hara gave just a single note about whole coalition thing and Pang Nuan (Houken) in the ending note of the battle at sai. While historically all credit goes to Pang Nuan.

Snap. I have been underestimating Houken and overestimating Riboku cause of how Hara portrayed them

Honestly saying this, i hate how Hara has portrayed Riboku. That man was really too good. That's why always put in same category with Ousen, HakuKi and Renpa. While all these got amazingly similar portrayal as in history but Riboku didn't.

It shouldn't be this easy for either Ouki, GekiShin or OuSen to fight against Riboku but they never had any issues against him.

Conqueror of the Stars

What part of Riboku’s portrayal has been Lacking? Lol

Killed Ouki and Gekishin, called the most dangerous man in China by Renpa, called the strongest TGH in history by Gyou’Un (who violently respected rinshoujou), paralleled with Gakuki as both formed/lead a coalition army, etc

Killed Ouki and Gekishin, called the most dangerous man in China by Renpa,
Credit in all three goes to Houken. GekiShin didn't even had any problems with Riboku. While Ouki predicted since the start what's next in there strategies and also predicted a new army going to showed up there. Lol

Hara should've showed some achievements of his based on his own efforts like off paneled victory in northern regions (Gaimon and Xiangxhou or whatever were names)
paralleled with Gakuki as both formed/lead a coalition army, etc
Yeah he always got called most dangerous man and that matches with history but in manga, that wasn't put in right way. Look at his performance in coalition. Other than forming coalition, there wasn't anything big from him in whole fight. He might have found southern path but still got forced to retreat there.

Major, i think Riboku could've portrayed lot better than this.

Well, I understand but as a lover of Riboku Sama, I must disagree for a few reasons:

1. All of Houken’s actions in this manga are due to Riboku. Houken would be some mountain hermit right now if not for Riboku manipulating him to his own schemes. Houken’s strength goes to hyping Riboku in the same way Shouheikun’s strength hyped Kou Shou, Gyou’Un hyped RSJ, Tou hypes Ouki, etc.

2. Riboku has based a lot of his strategies and actions around himself manipulating Houken. I doubt he would’ve even tried to defeat Ouki in the manner that he did had he not had Houken, and I doubt he would’ve tried to fight Gekishin head on again if he hadn’t had Houken lol.

3. Riboku’s strategies in the Coalition War were on a level beyond what literally everyone predicted, even Karin, Ousen, and Shouheikun seemingly didn’t predict Roboku’s Master strategy of hitting Sai. It took the strength of Sei (who SBK remarked had greater ability as a King than even King Sho himself) to stall Riboku. Even then had Yotanwa not arrived, Sai would’ve fallen.

4. Riboku is currently matching Ousen almost blow for blow right now despite Ousen having 3 GG Level subordinates and Riboku having 0 (Houken has only just shown himself.) sure Riboku has lost more generals than Ousen but that’s the fault of his subordinate generals, not Riboku himself lol.

I think Riboku has made a serious case for himself being the strongest General in Kingdom history

Or I am downplaying Batei. :catpole:

This sounds good. To be honest, I expect Batei to survive this arc. Zhao has been pasted enough as it is.

Once Batei (who is an established character) faces off against Shiryou then it will be much easier to rate Shiryou’s strength. After all, her only current 1v1 feat was against a featless bloke.
As for Riboku vs Kanki, i am wondering how exactly things will things end up that way.

I was not necessarily meaning this arc, just in the future in general. :catsweat:

I do not believe Riboku (or Houken) is going down this arc and Zhao still has Shibashou and the famed Guardian of the Capital. I expect Kanki to fight Riboku and one of the aforementioned Zhao Generals in a major battle. :steef:
Why do you all talk About Kanki vs Riboku as it must happen? Is it hystoricaly based or did i miss something?
During the Battle of Koukoyou Hills, Kanki was compared to Riboku twice by Kinmou and Karyo Ten. Not only that but Riboku himself appeared at the end of the arc and stated that he “Knew Kanki’s weakness”.

That is too much buildup for Riboku vs Kanki to not happen.

Forgot About it, so Long ago and to much Information to remember :pepehands:
I think the most reason i don't remember Things as good as in OP, is because i read from chapter 1 to 580 (i think) without a break. You just read thru and don't really Analyse Things, as when you would have to wait 1 week or more until next chapter. I didn't gave it enough time to sink in, i guess. But you guys are helping me out, i appreaciate that
But it was great to read 580 chapter without breaks :finally:took me a month or so.

BRUHHHH. Kyougaii?!! why Hara why bro.

First Shousa now Kyougai, got slaughtered like a fodder, disrespect man.:josad:

R.i.p Houken, Kyoukai and Shin about to put in work now.

I think Batei overpowered Shin during the last war( do not remember correctly)...So it will be good to see how Shiryu fares against him....Riboku is confident against Hi Shin Unit because of Houken's motivation against Shin?
Hope Shin and Kyokai get their fire back and rush towards Houken and slay him

Thanks to Jeeswag from Kingdom Community

Riboku HQ:
Karyoten gets a real quick first aid from Tan and soldiers after they take out Kinmou. She says to spread the news that the enemy general has been taken out. The news gets to Kinmou's HQ and they decide to send a messenger to RBK to retreat because they can't hold back the HSU any longer. The HSU gets through them and starts charging for RBK.

Kaine notices that the HSU got through and starts to head back to RBK and is attacked by Shiryou. She sends Kaine flying and Batei catches her and tells her to go back to RBK and he'll block Shiryou.

The HSU is getting closer thanks to the soldiers and En-san realizes that Shin and Kyoukai aren't able to lead the charge because of their injuries and fatigue. So he knows what he must do and raises the morale of all the HSU to have them squeeze out every last bit of energy they have left to finally end this battle. Kyougai is in the front and sees RBK at his HQ.

Kaine comes back and tells RBK to retreat and thinks something's wrong because he's just standing there. As the HSU is getting closer she's freaking out and RBK tells her to calm down because he's fine.

As Kyougai leads the charge at the front he thinks of Shousa and how his sacrifice wasn't in vain only to be cleaved in half by Houken while thinking of Shin.

RBK is calm. Shin and Kyoukai's eyes become bloodshot.

No break next week!
