Kyou kai looks like she landed a critical hit.
1 chapter is not enough after not seeing Kyou kai wrecking strong people. I hope we see more if her.
Anyway, looks like Shin will capitalize on the damage Kyou kai did and kill Houken. Unless Houken is not meant to die in this arc.
From the pics, Houken was struggling to keep up with Kyou kai. Houken will probably grind his teeth to dust after Kyou kai is done with him.:laughmoji:

I think Houken is going to die in this arc while only Riboku going to survive.

Also definitely 1 chapter isn't enough for our KyouKai sama. We need at least 5 more chapters of her alone against Houken than enters Shin. Shin will be there just to give finishing blow! No. I think the way Houken's looking for Shin means it will be an epic duel between them. Sadly more epic than Houken vs KyouKai.

This chapter appears to be what we have been waiting for weeks, if not months nw.

Also, i am surprised Hara didn't make it tag team fight. Thry both were at their limits, so i expected both of em to finish off Houken.. But i get a feeling Shin would finish Injured Hou ken.

Yup its blood. KK sama is in bad mood right now. Also we've been waiting to see her in action for months now. Finally some action scenes from KK .

For some reason though, I still have a sneaking suspicion that Houken is going to survive this arc.

Have they dealt with Bananji and Futei yet? The site for the raws usually does not work for me.

Either way, it is a logical idea. They need Riboku dead or retreating if they want to win the battle.

Besides, this could mean Houken gets gangbanged by all of Qin’s young hotshot, up and coming Generals. #Mouten’sRevenge

Ousen is probably going to ask Kisui to be his nakama once Riboku retreats.

Ousen HQ:
Due to the injury Bananji suffered Ousen was able to use that chance where he was stopped to escape from the predicament. But instead of escaping to the left he decided to move forward and regroup with Denrimi's army past Futei. As Ousen approaches Denrimi he saw that Riboku's HQ has also not fallen yet. Mouten sees that a lot of Riboku's soldiers are going right which encourages him of Shin's charge. Futei catches up because of the Zhao's fast horses so Mouten intercepts saying he'll do everything he can to save Ousen so all that's left is for Shin to take out Riboku.
Riboku HQ:
The HSU soldiers are stopped by Houken's battlecry. Bihei from a distance starts to remember this feeling and realizes Houken is here. He's terrified and doesn't want to go but says he has to keep moving forward for Shin and believes Shin will take him out. Riboku's soldiers are in awe of how Houken could stop the charge with just a scream. The Duke Hyou soldiers sees Houken and charges at him remembering Duke Hyou's final moment. They keep getting taken out and Gakurai and Garo look like they're about to go too. Sosui and En-san tries to stop them and tell them to wait but they say that there's no reason for them to wait. As they get close we hear the "ton tan tan" and know Kyoukai's about to make some moves. Houken senses her and starts swinging, getting cut in the process. Kyoukai says it's not enough and must go faster and deeper into the trance while asking Rokusui to lend her strength. She says she won't let Shin fight him and will take Houken out before Shin arrives while Shin is telling his soldiers to get out of his way.

I would say the opposite, there can be other strong beasts like Houken that will pose a challenge to Shin even in the future, bt Riboku has buildup of being the single most biggest obstacle in Unification of china. Its too soon for him to go down, Kingdom needs badasses that will keep introducing problems for Qin and i see no better candidate than Riboku.

Plus Shin has grown strong enough to take down Houken by himself, bt he is still far from matching Riboku tactically and i believe he should be the one to best Riboku n beat him, given his words in the past.

You are right, Riboku is a perfect candidate as the last boss

But I dont see Riboku joining Chu, he is too loyal to Zhao.

Houken is enitrely different story, he doesnt care about country or government. Houken's bushin story is not also based on real historical figures, so him fighting for Zhao/Chu doesnt go directly against historical facts. I also strongly disagree with your assessment that Shin can beat Houken alone

Nevertheless, the biggest obstacle for China's unification will be the kingdom of Chu, not Riboku. They probably have several generals above Kanmei's level at their disposal. Kouen aka tiger of Chu is one of them, mark my words, his hype will be above Zhao's 3 and Qin's 6. Dont forget Renpa is also currently on asylum there.

Kouen & Renpa & Houken & Karin & a couple of Kanmei+ general should be good enough for the final battle.
