Ok, se we might still have 1 or 2 roof chapters with a big cliffhanger (Supernovas defeated? Zoro scarring Kaido?) and then maybe Oda switches to the lower floors for the next volume.
I'm loving the the roofs chapters, but the more roof we get the more time we're gonna wait to come back after we make the switch.
Zoro pre TS sensed that Kitetsu is no ordinary blade either. Tengu drew parallels between Kitetsu and Enma by saying "both are similar as they cannot be wielded by the weak". So Big Mom's statement, that Enma is no ordinary blade, referred to exactly that. And since Enma's ability, by definition, is to use excess amounts of the user's Haki, it's still Zoro's power he utilizes through the blade.
Right now it seems like Zoro have the highest Ap on the roof with Luffy(or even better?).
His attacks are lethal asf, if even BM make a comment about it.
Zoro's AP is superior... significantly superior. Kaido was taking several of Luffy's attacks but a single attack from Zoro not even being an ultimate got them shook
Well Law started all of this and he in it to find out about D so not really a 5th wheel .
But yeah Zoro and Luffy will do the most damage and shine the most .
I mean he has attacks that are simply more powerful than that one. If he puts the same amount of Haki behind moves like ISDS and Rashamon, it'd been even more devastating.
He still hasn't shown such abilities as Ni Gorilla so he's still has more to unpack.
Also we haven't even talked about Asura yet, and we all know that form will make everything I listed prior to look like basic ass appetizers.
I don't even know if this is possible, but if Zoro can get a Ni Gorrila x Asura combo going, that would honestly break One Piece as we know it.
Asura and Ni Gorilla weren't massive boosts, he wasn't using them in the desperate thriller bark situations. His moves are situational and can't all be stacked. Asura wasn't as much of a boost as g3 and ni gorilla wasn't as much of a boost as g2.
Neither give Zoro the mobility to fight an even fight with a yonko, AP isn't his issue, overcoming regen, dodging mid-air etc. are.

Not this chapter previous chapters, when the fan concept of Killer being nerfed was raised it was denied, when it was confirmed as canon it was still pushed back "b-but having only two swords is more of a nerf to zoro". Now we see killer has some specialized techniques that require these hopefully that cope will die.
and now they open their eyes and people wank killer now dude, and yes killer is nerfed so does zoro, the reason zoro got hit is that fox guy i forgot his name.. that's why when killer said "if i have my weapon (punisher)" zoro said "the result would be the same"
Rereading the whole thing makes me realize that Kaido is really getting overwhelmed here. Sure, he tanked all those high damage attacks really well and managed to dodge the one that would have been bad news to take head on but he is definitely the one getting pressured here.
Luffy in particular straight up outmaneuvered his wind attacks and landed a clean hit right in his face and later withstood a Boro Breath and successfully counter attacked. If it wasn't for BM, Kaido would probably be back to human form by now because this really doesn't seem to be working for him....
It good that luffy tank bolo breath .
I was wondering how he would get around BM fire attacks if it ever came to a 1 on 1 .
If he tanking bolo he should be able to tank most of her first attacks that we see so far .
