Future Events Oda's killing problem - does he have the guts to kill Kaido?

How will Oda solve the killing problem?

  • Luffy ends his pacifist run and kills Kaido

  • Zoro finally commits an on-panel murder

  • Kid or Law do the dirty work for them

  • Big Mom backstabs Kaido

  • Blackbeard appears and backstabs Kaido

  • He doesn't. Kaido is imprisoned eternally (in a Poneglyph or something? idk)

  • None of the above

To answer the thread topic, no. Oda is too much of a bitch to kill any memorable characters. He couldn’t even let Pound stay dead. He actually ruined Pound’s entire character by bringing him back to life.
If there is anything I hate more than bringing back a dead character is having a chapter focused on that character being killed, and making us feel sad for that character dying only to ruin the whole thing by bringing back that character to life.

Oda bringing back Pound not only ruined his character but it also ruined the chapter that was focused on him being killed, lessened the danger of the WCI arc, and finally ruined Bege's cover story.

This scene was far too memorable to make it into modern OP. Wano is reserved for masterpiece dialogue like “muh durability”, “these brats”, “how is this possible,” and other LeGeNdArY mOmEnTs from GODA!!!11!, instead of all that other crap.

I’ve been saying this shit since 2019, Kaido is the worst character Oda has ever written. Oda took a bunch of generic villain traits and threw them into a blender. The result was Crydo of the Animal Kingdom who may as well be singularly responsible for ruining the Wano Arc given that 95% of its issues are directly related to its ass-tier villain.

In fact, knowing current Oda, Bellemere may even be resurrected so Oda can draw her tickling chinchillas or whatever tf random ass cover story he feels like drawing.
Huh, Didn't Doffy execute his brother.

This has nothing to do with guts.

Kaido's story was never gonna be about him getting to die.

He's a villain. Villains don't get what they want. He was never going to die in the first place.
But Kaido been captured before. Luffy beating him up isn't doing anything. He just escapes

And that matters why exactly? Luffy is going to be Pirate King very soon. Like he's supposed to care that Kaido is roaming the seas? Once Luffy gets to that level, Kaido can come at him 1000 times, and he'll lose 1000 times.

I am saying Oda showed that he just escape for a reason. Its not about Him coming for Luffy again.

He doesn't need to come at Luffy. He just needs to come at Wano and kill everyone. Who's stopping him from doing that

Kaidou doesn't want to simply die,he wants a grand death.
That is why he wants a war that will engulf the whole world•that is why he says WB and Roger did it right...

He doesn't want a humiliating death, because death is what completes a person according to him..What he will feel in a humiliating scenario is despair and the urge to live logically.

But that is all on theory. On practice Oda didn't even let Law, off Hawkins when he blackened the paneled fully and wrote slash over, clearly indicated that Law send him to the otherworld ,yet still made Hawkins come back. He simply doesn't like killing characters off and we are to believe that he will let the good guys of the story kill someone ? Not in a million years.
Though if he does, props to him. Till he does I don't see him killing someone.

And why would he go after Wano to kill everyone?
Why wouldn't he? Is he just gonna always chase after the SHs for revenge? Did you see him chase WB or Shanks when they arguably gave him ones of his defeat?
The point is, Kaidou is a fucking wildcard. It's not like other villians like Doffy, Moria, Lucci who will shit their pants when they see Luffy's Pirate Flag on top of Wano. Luffy isn't always gonna be there to stop Kaidou from paying a visit to Wano and killing everyone.

He has absolutely no reason to want to kill everyone on Wano. Kaido has never been built up like Big Mom to seek out revenge on others.

You can't just take one of Big Mom's characteristics and apply it to Kaido, Lol.
