While I'm not saying they are more powerful then even the weakest Santoryu technique i.e oni giri, I'm saying that because of the nature of the dragon twister (aoe) it's going to be far less lethal than his dragon blaze. Which even meme was wary off.

Those magazines are fun to read, but they mean nothing to the canon. In Zoro's novel you have Marines discussing against Mihawk being the WSS, and even bringing up Vista as a candidate of being it.

I dont think thats a problem, i mean, its not like the average marine knows what haki is and how strong mihawk, Zoro or even Vista actualy are.
I mean, for example lets say you are a marien fodder and you just saw some dude casualy slashing a giant golem or warever, would you as a normal human being, think its possible to top that feat? Its just fodder perspective. But i agree with novels and other such materials not being cannon unless specificaly aproved by oda.
