This doesnt matter.

Kaido’s durability shouldnt change because hes in hybrid

Remember he even has the same durability when hes in plain human form because Mythical fruits work even when they are no activated

So kaido is mainly going into Hybrid for offensive purposes

Therefore if a regular one sword attack was almost gonma fuck Kaido up in dragom form then the samw attack would fuck him up in Hybrid. The advantage of hybrid is that he can use his Club so maybe he can block with it instead of having to tank hits on his body.

So ashura cutting up kaido in hybrid would be the same as Ashura cutting up kaido in human form and cutting up kaodo im dragon form im terms of how hard it is to even cut kaido...

Becausw of this i domt think Zoro will use Ashura here. Zoro’s mission i assume is to guard Luffy for 10 minutes, not to try and beat Kaido 1v1. For Zoro to pull out ashura, he would be insisting on getting into a head om fight leaving Luffy unguarded

Hybrid Kaido forces Zoro to use Asura. Kaido acknowledges Zoro's strength and expresses hope that he's the samurai he's been waiting for. He asks Zoro for his name. Zoro gives him, they have some banter.

Zoro expresses his dream to be the World's Strongest Swordsman, and his desire to protect Luffy. Until Luffy has recovered, he will be Kaido's opponent.

Asura Zoro holds his own against hybrid Kaido. Kaido greatly enjoys himself in the fight, Zoro is able to hurt him even in his hybrid form. Out of respect for Zoro's strength, Kaido tells him that he will show him the power of the World's Strongest and then reveals his Awakening. Awakened Kaido quickly recovers from the damage Asura Zoro dealt him. His scales are much harder than diamond, and he's invulnerable. He boasts of having the ultimate defence and the ultimate offence.

Zoro starts getting smacked around, as Zoro is knocked away, Luffy tags in with Gear 5. He faces Awakened Kaido by himself.

Sanji comes upon the defeated Zoro and questions him on how he could let himself be beaten, Luffy still needs his strength. Zoro is ashamed, but he's used up all his haki in the earlier fight. Sanji tells him not to look down on him. He didn't go through hell for 2 years only to fail his teammates when they need him the most.

Sanji cooks one of the Okama Kenpo's secret recipes. This restores all of Zoro's stamina. Zoro thanks him and finally addresses him by name for the first time in the manga.

While Sanji is blushing like a schoolgirl shocked, Zoro runs off to face Kaido.

Chapter ends with G5 Luffy and Asura Zoro facing off against Awakened Kaido.


(Sanji also cooked a similar recipe for Luffy. Luffy probably says some badass lines when he's confronting Kaido in Gear 5, but I don't understand Luffy's character well, so I left him out so as not to ruin the immersion).

But I agree with that part "Zoro hold Kaido during until Luffy is recovered from his cooldown", and during this skirmish is when Zoro will open Kaido's wound.
I just pray for no more "Enma" bs.
Let him talk just about Zoro without bringing Oden to the conversation plz.

Problem ist for Kaido he's so impressed with Oden, so he's a freshly Couple in love. He only sees Oden, therefore he completely ignores the Mighty of Mei-Ō Shimotsuki Zoro.

Isn't Hybrid Zoan form purely a form more suited to fight, since it keeps the humanoid form the person is used to fighting on, but added the animal goods?
Never considered Hybrid having more "defense" or "offense" than full beast.
When Page One transforms, he just says something like "this form is better for fighting".

Hybrid Kaido with Awakening against Aushra Zoro is hella hype. But if Hybrid Kaido is activated in response to Zoro there is high chance Awakening will be activated in response to Luffy or Luffy + Zoro.

And I doubt Zoro is getting defeated, I'm not saying he's not going to get trashed around by hybrid Kaido, that he is. But he's one of the most resilient guys.

The only way I see him out of the fight is if he gets extremely damaged while protecting Luffy. Then Oda can him tap out for a little while.

Bur overall impression that I'm getting is Zoro is sticking around for the whole fight.
Though nice fanfic. But Sanji and Zoro is wild even for a fanfic.
