Still making excuses? They didn't say why he didn't use it, so you've no idea why. If he can't use before getting hit several times by Kuma, and even Ursus Shock and before taking Luffy's pain then that technique is shit. Or it's not stronger than Sonson due to being slow. He asked Sanji's help to hit Pacifista with Asura. The fact that he didn't use Asura against Kuma is all we need to know. He basically gave up without even getting KOed first. Kaido was literally standing there taking his hit because last time his hit didn't do shit.
And for last two chapters Zoro is the only one Kaido has considered a threat and has actually bothered dodging.
You can only make statements like these when you have proof that Kaido even takes Luffy seriously enough to dodge.

True. But so far, the trend in these big battles is, Luffy uses two rounds of Gear 4, with the second always being the decisive one. Against Doffy, he decided to launch an all out attack, as he was too resilient for the other G4 attacks, and with Kata, he switched to a more attack speed based form to circumvent his FS.
Luffy definitely thought of how tough Kaido was to take out, so I think after this 10 minutes pause, we see the solution.

Its not an excuse its just your argument was he used sonson so its stronger did you forget your intiatil argument or are you trying to jump from argument to argument
