I like Kid as character and his role overall but let be honest here, it don't really looking good for any supernova right now.
Oda build since 1month a hype around the rooftop battle, spend three chapters in row for the battle(four if we use chapter 1000 too) with he didn't do since 10-15years ago!!
And we see Kaido in shadow in his hybrid form, with means Oda build up so much hype around that form....

Sry but it doesn't really looking good for the SN for the next chapter...

I mean we know SN will lose first round, i just want to see Kid do the most work while Luffy rans out of Haki for 10 mins.

He's the one mirroring Oden here after all

It was only a question of time when the tide would change of direction and turn on them. Against two Yonkos the five Supernovas were never going to win this battle.

Would be a nice change, something really dark in One Piece. But let's be serious even with the Supernovas losing this battle the people of the Flower Capital will be saved either due to them be evacuated or warned so they can flee the Capital or Onigashima crashing just before the capital.

I think i don't believe in the idea that the SN will lose, the raid will fail, Onigashima will fall on the capital, they will have to regroup and plan another attack all over again. That just takes too long, and we already know Oda is not in the business of wasting time anymore.

The CP0 and Sword interference on the Raid is enough to cause chaos to let the Alliance win somehow, besides Oda already did the heroes losing to Kaido twice, i don't think he's going to do it a third time. Kaido is going down, people need to start accepting that.

The problem is that they are in the middle of a festival, without knowing anything about this shit happening. Comunications are down, the island is floating so there's no one from the island that got out to warn them. And the Island is huge, when they see the island coming at night, it will be too late to run away from it, they would have to run half a country in minutes.

This is one of the reasons why that argument that if the Supernovas lose on the roof everyone in the Flower Capital will die make me laugh, that and the fact that it's just another copy of the "if Luffy loses he will die" argument.

What do you mean? Marineford was like 30 chapters. He could do another huge war in just one year and half. Besides he's already setting it up every time we see the behind the scenes outside of Wano. 2023 we will be in that war.

It isn't like there is none of them who can't see Onigashima coming or that no one can't warn them before. There are plenty of ways for them to be saved even with Onigashima advance not being stopped.
