You know what's really interesting about these spoilers? Almost everyone just assumed Luffy had mastered G4 like it was a foregone conclusion, myself included. It's the MC of a shonen manga bias, no one wants to downplay or question Luffy in terms of power. They're scared that If they do they'll just be handed an L. But because no one really ever questions Luffy's strength, stuff like this goes under the radar.
On the flipside if Zoro does anything, you can bet your ass all factions of other fandoms will be at his throat. I guess that's also because his fans are also quick to wank him into the heavens.
Maybe if even a fraction of the Zoro wank and downplay went to discourse about other characters it wouldn't be such a disappointment that Luffy ran out of haki yet again. Because if we did discuss that stuff, then a larger part of the fanbase might have seen it coming. But hey, I mean it's more interesting to debate about the semantics of "Look out!" and "Dodge!" for hundreds of pages instead am I right? If people weren't so salty they could quite clearly see that the point of that scene isn't really about the words but the nuances and implications of it.
Well even now I think the whole running out of haki thing is just a plot device. It creates tension and we get to see some of the other supernova shine, then Luffy will later reveal his cards. Maybe show G5 with more efficient haki usage or something. What I'm getting at is One Piece isn't about power levels. Oda just wants to show cool scenes and symbolism and he'll give quick nerfs and powerups to show them. So if you can't even entertain the thought of things like ZKK you're just going to continue to have a bad time. My thoughts on ZKK? If Oda goes through with killing Kaido then I think ZKK will be very plausible. If he doesn't, Zoro will do significant damage. It can go either way (Just my thoughts on ZKK if you guys are curious about how biased I am on that topic and where I stand on the Zoro wank scale). And the reason why Zoro will play a significant role (and it has nothing to do with powerlevels) has quite clearly been alluded to at length and has been much better outlined than I would be able to do it by users such as @Cinera . His thread if you guys want to check it out. Who knows? Just some food for thought to maybe start discussing other characters.
Then again I'm not one to ruin, the fun... so I guess I'll just join in on the trolling and do a quick

Zoro seems to have been the MVP of the fight so far even looking only at his personal accomplishments. When you add that he has been babysitting his captain, there is not really any contest on who has put in the most work.
Said captain has made himself dead weight for the next 10 minutes, so Zoro would be on full time babysitting duty vs two Yonkou.
I can only imagine how much more damage Zoro would have dealt had Luffy not required his rescues.
Our Grandmaster has been held back from destroying the Yonkou by the need to protect his captain.

Sorry, I saw @Bogard was downplaying Zoro and I got a little annoyed.
As far as we know, Luffy's attacks have done a fat lot of good to Kaido, and he:
@Bogard if you want to downplay Zoro's accomplishments in this battle, then do so when Luffy has done much more than require Zoro and Law to babysit him.

- Was chastised by Zoro to not lose focus because they were facing two Yonkou
- Rendered himself dead weight for 10 minutes
@Bogard if you want to downplay Zoro's accomplishments in this battle, then do so when Luffy has done much more than require Zoro and Law to babysit him.

- Luffy is not "totally resistant" to Boro Breath. In fact, he got pretty roughed up by the Boro Breath he tanked.

- Tanking Boro Breath may have depleted his haki much faster and explain why Boundman didn't even last 10 minutes.

Just another iteration of Zoro fans Vs. The World. When you asked, we were in the midst of bodying some Luffy stans.
Kidd can shine against Mama, but I want Zoro to hold off Kaido until Luffy recovers.
They tanked Mama's upper tier lightning attack (God of Lightning: Tenjin); why can't they tank whatever this attack is?
Nah:
All Law needs to do is appropriately shambles Zoro to land his upper tier techniques and intercept the Yonkou's attacks, and he would greatly outperform everything Kidd, Killer and Luffy have done.
A single attack of Zoro can do much more damage than 4 named Boundman techniques, and vastly more damage than what Law can even dream of. Law should stop trying to get anywhere with his puny AP and should appropriately leverage the strategic class warhead they have with them.
Zoro is literally a walking Juggernaut. Uber offense and Uber defense in one package, but limited mobility. Give Zoro the mobility he needs, and the Yonkou shall know Pain.
Yep, you all should just leave the job of writing Zoro wank essays to me — I'm the best at it anyways.
