I understand why some people may be disappointed but this was bound to happen the moment the roof battle started before the others. Now Luffy is out so Oda can focus on the other fights and by the time he gets back the final fight of the Arc begins!

Exactly this. I can imagine we will get now the fights step by step, maybe each fight a chapter or even 2, and after every fight, we will get one or two panel of Luffy how he gets saved or the others are able to dodge the Yonkos to skip the time. So i think we get a few panels of the 10 minutes timeframe of the rooftop between the fights inside the building and when the other fights are done more or less, we get back to the rooftop. Classic build up and i am happy it happens now.

You took Oda teasing what happened to Sabo and Boa as him saying we would see them last year? That was your problem right there. You know when Oda teases future events it doesn't mean he is going to show us it in the current arc right?

He teased Oden's backstory at Jump festa 2018 and we actually got to see it in 2019 like planned.
It is onlay natural that the events he teased at Jump festa 2019 were supposed to happen in 2020 but Covid disturbed his plans.
Just like Shanks stuff he teased at Jump festa 2020 are supposed to happen this year or beggining of next year at most if there are no delays due to exterior publication factors.
