Absolutely agree. He will be as strong as needed and we will get more story of him, most likely a flashback with alot of explanation (maybe not this arc, maybe later). Maybe we will get this when Shanks comes into play. Also i expect some major conflict when shanks appears and there is some dispute between him and Kid, while Luffy is around.
