I guess you could argue that Paige 1 might have an ultimate move he didn't use on Sanji, and if you scale Paige 1 to Ulti, the two should be able to clash semi-evenly when Yamato is in base occasionally.

We haven’t seen page one at all and Yamato was fighting someone and clearly struggling.
There’s many reasons Oda would make Yamato fight page one but one big reason would be to kee the hierarchy of the straw hats with sanji always being 3 since he low diffed page one.

Yamato stalemated ace. thats a better feat than failing to put away page one, and that was years ago and she was cuffed too right? she should be much stronger now.
