Bounty is irrelevant in one piece and there are a many examples luffy is the captain but Zoro was so strong that he was mistaken as the captain which shows how not much of a difference in strength there is between them, But yes luffy is the captain no one is denying that.

Okay let me list down all the stats

Attack Power --> Zoro shits on Luffy brutally. Kaido was shitting his pants by Zoro just flexing with one sword. Mean while Luffy had to use Gear 4th just to tickle Kaido

Stamina --> Zoro is literally carrying Luffy like a sack of potatoes while fighting two Yonko at the same time

Speed --> Zoro shits on Luffy's speeds until he is using Snake man but Snake man's offense is like getting punched by a 4 year old girl to Zoro

CoA --> Zoro's CoA gave both Kaido and Big Mom fear of God and his Haki leak alone was enough to travel 5 KMs cutting a Horn with mountain sized diameter.

Endurance --> Zoro always had better endurance than Luffy. In the latest chapter Zoro shurgged off a named attack from yonko that defeated 5 Vinsmoke Power rangers

Physical Strength --> Only time Luffy is (arguably) stronger in for 10 minutes in boundman, but that would mean fuck all when Zoro with his Tatsumaki would shred the shit outta Luffy.

What does Luffy have? Shitty ass Future Sight that can't even save him from fodders?
