This thread is a prime example of how delusional fans of certain manga characters can be.
Luffy always fights against way stronger enemies than Zoro.
Luffy is the one with CoC, advanced CoO and advanced CoA, who always saves the day in the end.
Zoro himself bowed down to Mihawk, just for the sake of his captain/superior, like Mihawk mentioned.
Luffy is the one with a 1.5 billion bounty, whereas Zoro is still stuck at 320 million.
Kaido himself sees Roger, WB, Oden & Co. when looking at Luffy, while only being afraid of "Oden's sword", not actually Zoro himself.
But yeah ... Zoro's portrayal is really equal to Luffy's portrayal lmao.

I find it baffling how some people are not elastic enough to consider the fact that Zoro is facing Luffy's common enemy right now and despite so he is actually faring better.
Also Luffy has the better haki types not the better haki. Why do people fail to grasp this basic notion.
Basic stats are of utmost importance, this is why Zoro is proving to be so freaking powerful despite seemingly lacking internal destruction.

Status and bounty points are the easiest to counter because they're pure shit. Buggy is a feared Warlord of the sea, Usopp is worth more than double Franky, significantly more than the sole survivor of Ohara. Next?

Well Luffy going to have to separate himself to being stronger in this fight because so far its not looking that way. Also blowing your whole Haki load doesn't mean he stronger. Zoro just more conservative fighter and smarter. Zoro isn't just throwing all his Haki in one attack in hopes he wins. Its actually shown throughout post timeskip. Luffy been spamming CoA hardening fodders while Zoro used ut in Dressrosa for first time.
People keep saying Luffy>Zoro. Well this time its the same opponents, Lets stop talking and actually make rrhese characters prove it.

Lol. Maybe he'd recall Zoro if he stomped him too. His first time meeting two emperors and he comes outta left field with an attack they both acknowledge Kaido shouldn't tank.
In the recent time it really feels like the Zoro haters are the ones in denial and can't accept what happens in the Manga.
Luffy:
- Was pushed to his limit against Doflamingo.
- Was pushed to his limit against Cracker.
- Had an Extreme diff fight with Katakuri and learned FS.
- Went through training at Udon and learned advanced CoA.
Zoro:
- Trashed Hyozou
- Trashed Monet
- Trashed Pica
By Rayleigh's definition Luffy had 3 power ups going through High-Extreme diff fights + learning two advanced levels of Haki. Zoro only had a single power up, getting Enma.
Regardless of all of that. Luffy nearly used his entire arsenal in G4 against Kaido and couldn't do shit while Zoro is doing equal to more damage, still not having used high-end named attacks.

Luffy hits Kaido and Kaido gets excited and wants him to hit him more and more and more and continues to tank like all of Luffy's attacks until Luffy literally exhausts his ass.
Zoro flexes his Haki once and Kaido shits his pants and gets Oden PTSD, Zoro becomes the only character that was too strong for Kaido to dodge and Zoro with his literally bottom tier fodder clear move does as much damage as Luffy's ultimate Boundman attack and Zoro isn't even phased by using Tatsumaki while upon completing his attack Zoro has to carry Luffy like a sack of potatoes.
