1005 updates us on all of the non-rooftop SH along with Yamato. Granted, it might just because of Momo, or explaining the spying tool. If Oda can show us Chopper (fight Page One pls) concocting meds, he should've at least shows the situation with Carrot.
I understand how Oda exclude her, she's not on the main building and can't hear Sanji's shout. Still, one panel isn't too much, Oda.
Yeah, was hoping for Bon-chan to join the fleet at least (with the newkama & okama peeps).

Tbh I was expecting to see a kozuki, pedro (minks), and skyfolk would become nakama
a kozuki, at the void century they were allying with joyboy and entrusted to hold the history (writing & reading history. Maybe also understanding it to guide them)
Skyfolk, as we could see in most of them longing for vearth (Soil), fairy vearth (moon), and protecting something they've entrusted. I think they could be relevant in future story. But who knows
Wano people, minks, fishman/merfolk, skyfolk. They're hardly be seen together with human. They do self isolation. Im hoping they got some resolve in EOS.
But if oda wants to gather all the crew as soon as possible with the already-introduced character, I think it would be yamato, vivi, and pedro and i just realized a certain clue that they might join. According to that clue if yamato really join, there's a high high chance vivi will join too

Also interesting that Momo doesn't turn into a perv over Yamao. Makes their relationship a bit more special. Shows Momo was willing to ride around in Yamao's cleavage surprisingly not because he's horny, but because he actually trusts her. Seems like something Oda would have taken into consideration for their dynamic if it is gonna be a long term thing.

Meanwhile the anticipation builds and builds for the Carrot fight. It's the only battle Oda's completely hidden and chosen not to reveal any insight about. All other characters Oda gave an update on. We've seen:
Roof piece
All the straw hat vs
Chopper making medicine
Drake vs Apoo
Marco vs King (Queen suspiciously absent, likely after Sanji)
Jack
Bepo
Wire
Hyoguro
As you can see, Oda is willing to give panels updating us on the battles of completely irrelevant characters like Wire in Kids crew, yet it seems he's intentionally avoiding giving the slightest spoiler into how Carrot's fight is going. The reasons for this could be huge for Carrot. Bottom line is that at this point it seems like Oda definetly has a special plan for the fight that he believes warrants him hiding that single fight out of everything happening in Onigashima.
Plus, the fact carrot never had story centric arc that really made her major focus she is hardly mentions in comparison to her mentor figure or Yamato rather. Her flashback is something you would see from characters such as Paulie, Otama, Bartolomeo, and Chouchou. At this rate I do not believe she is going join the straw hats main crew. The reason I say this because we do not have enough personal info about her as character and as well the fact she does not really feel like main lead of her own arc. In addition, you do not have personal connection towards her as character. Yes, I get that she experiences tragedy before. However, we still do not know the personal history between her and Pedro. If oda would give us her history with pedro, about dawn he spoke of, and major detail jack arrival from her perspective. That would significantly help her case to become one of them. For now, I am starting have little doubt that she will join us. Ever since we landed in wano Yamato insert herself to plot in act 3 and while carrot by comparison push to the background and become more of secondary character. Throughout chapters we have been getting so far she hardly shown panel alongside the straw hats.
If we look back at Dressrosa, there were a lot very interesting characters that had a pretty centric role in the arc, but still had the minor feel to them... They ended up as the grand fleet. Oda will give to all of his characters and resolve whatever plot thread connected to them.
Carrot isn't that different in this case, and she's been pushed back so much already, that this Perospero battle might end badly for her. Just saying

I think she might be additional member grand fleet under mink division. Knowing she can only use her full potential once mouth when moon is full. It makes sense for her part that organization. Many people may complain about of her doing that sort thing because She is not old enough be her own captain and lacks authority. Being leader does not mean your perfect everything just looks luffy for example. He has crew they fill every role he is not good at. His job looks after his crew, make decisions and beat the boss. Carrot virve even mention she was able accomplish suslong transformation at young age. At that point she could be her own leader/teacher if she really wants to. In order help younger mink be able learn suslong. I can see her now create own crew with that accomplish too past down.

Even Kyros had a battle against a Seat... Yet he never joined...
Her relevance would be a cover story at most...
She will either lead the mink army or form a revival of Nox Pirates... Either would join the SHGF... Leading to a potential cover story...
Even Barto isn't mature enough to be a leader yet look at where he is now... Plus the minks doesn't seem to have the seniority rule... Look how Carrot is having an equal role with Wanda despite the latter being in the same age range as Pedro and Shishilian...
