General & Others How did Shanks>Mihawk become so popular?

bruh u question what author said? mf oda said mihawk is the strongest swordsman he is the strongest swordsman
the fk u talking about :kaidowhat:
"Author's intention" can be used by anyone as an argument.
Oda's saying he's the world strongest yet tells us that the character who used to be his biggest rival and is now one of the four emperors hasn't fought him in at least a decade.
That just seems to me like Oda is intentionally making it vague so people can't definitely say Mihawk or Shanks beat each other.

Medical does not equate with strength just stop, Oda gave away Mihawk title at 956
As we all know it he is unpredictable

Again, do you know how he obtained the title to begin with?

Oda is literally famous for having worldbuilding and backstory for so many of his characters and all it would take would be one flashback to where we see Mihawk beat the previous WSS and have a similar journey to Zoro to show us that it doesn't mean he's actually beaten everyone.

Stop using "Oda said he's the strongest" as if y'all knew what Oda is planning either, it means nothing until he shows us him defeating everyone.

HA001

World's Strongest Swordsman

We do know what odas planning. Zoro will be the wss. Do you think oda is giving zoro a fake dream ?

Mihawk is the current title holder of course he wants to defeat him, but someone else can take it, than zoro will have to defeat him, and it 956 it seems like it might be someone in the marines
You're wrong..

It says former Warlord. Not, former WSS.

Back then I I couldn't figure out why Oda left off the WSS title. Now I understand and it is make perfect sense. If Oda would have put his WSS title in that scene some fans would have claimed the former is referring to his warlord title and WSS title.

IDC how he obtained it, just like idc how Roger obtained his title. We didn't learn about how he did it for 900+ chapters. Did that change that Roger was the PK? You don't need to defeat everyone to be the WSS. Lmfao
