His role showed he can kill. He was threatening to vig people all the time. So why would he randomly start saying he tried and failed to kill Odd? He got a lot of heat for not targeting Tris like he said.

am iffy on the death miller theory like you tho.

If he thought people would buy this death miller thing then sure.

I mean let's look at what was happening:
-Ussop comes out after Odd
-He then claims that he tried to kill him and it failed
-He previously said on D1 I think that any invest on him would turn up non-conclusive. A big gamble to reveal like that. We then find out he actually had that as a passive, so he was telling the truth
-He also said something big would happen on D3 which lines up with his kills being upgraded
-Odd then kills him and we see a town sheet and some 'death miller'

It just doesn't add up imo. Ussop was telling the truth about two of his abilities (Passive and D3 something happens). Why would he lie about trying to kill Odd?

This death miller thing seems like an asspull imo.

nothing about d3 on his role
only gets upgraded if he kills mafia.

usopp has not killed maf yet. @Seraphoenix
