I would agree with on that one, but then both of us would be wrong.

Yea he grows stupid big and walks in the ocean. He talked about it being uncomfortable. But its because of the old fact that devilfruit abilities don't stop working in water , they just sap your strength. And he is like up to his shoulders maybe so he can still move around despite it sapping his strength.
