General & Others Is Zoro the vice-captain or close? Is he Lufy's right-hand man?

I don't know if the similarities fans. Mentioned enough to define Zoro as Ray parallel like Luffy is to Roger and it doesn't really matter for me if they are.

But watching those eps i felt like Rayleigh was more of Zoro + Sanji than any of em individually, back in Saboady arc. Further he served as Luffy Teacher in the TS, so there's more to Rayleigh than just being parallel.
That is my opinion on this.

Rayleigh was also an Advisor( Vivre Card stated) like Sanji and was smart in addition to being a womanizer like Sanji.

He is a First mate like Zoro
Is a Swordsman like Zoro
Has a scar like Zoro.

Vice-captain's role is that of an adviser, he advises the captain. IE, Zoro with sitting down Nami & Luffy. Zoro then getting into the Kaido situation and elaborating on their status right now whether they should go after Sanji or not. Zoro with the whole Usopp thing. Zoro is the main "adviser" of the straw hats, hence the vice captain.

Zoro is also smart, he's selectively smart. Has Sanji even gotten laid once, let alone being a womanizer? lol

Tell that to Oda, Oda has stated in the databook that Sanji is the Advisor the crew. It does not matter what you think.

I never questioned what Sanji's role is. I said the Vice-captain is also an advisor, which is why Rayleigh is described as such. Though I don't believe Rayleigh's role was put as advisor, rather the vice-captain

He'd be like a year younger than Borsalino and 2 years older than Sakazuki. People like Sakazuki are kids to Whitebeard.

It's a generational gap, not necessarily an age gap. IE, Urouge is from the Worst Generation growing and such, despite being in his 40s.

Apprentice most likely refers to rank within the crew. Strength wont get you a position of vice-captain instantly but you have to work your way up and considering that Oden joined last, it is expected that he had the lowest rank.
Similar to Hawkins' rank within Beast Pirates compared to Drake and P1 who are members for a longer period.

Apparently was a mistranslation. Inu and Neko were apprentices, not Oden.

Came up a lot when the chapter of Momonosuke and Kin'emon having a twenty year old grave happened.

Rayleigh is a mix of Sanji Franky Zoro.

Luffy want his crew to surpass Shanks.
He will surpass Roger individually, his crew will surpass Shankd crew not Roger's!

Reread the story. Nowhere is there luffy trying to gain a crew above Roger's.

Luffy will have allies, that's why he will be even greater than roger
