I doubt Captain John was a Top tier tbh, everything around him is about treassure, gold etc. He is known for his treasure which Buggy always interested on finding it, not about his strenght imo
Also look at his zombie version of him back in TB lol he was almost irrelevant as fodder during that arc. He couldn't be a top tier.

Nice chapter about Oden meeting and recruiting the rest of his followers in Wano and him becoming the Daiymao of Kuri.
Orochi has shown that even as a servant he was a lying and treacherous snake with him framing Oden for his theft even if Yasui suspected something.
I am curious to see how Oden left Wano and met WB, if he met Kaido during his journey before his return to Wano and if we'll see Moria in the flashback . I also hope that we'll get infos on the beggining of the Beast Pirates.

Great Chapter! Looking forward to seeing both WB & Kaidou touching down on Wano

I thought it unlikely but guess @Jo_Ndule might be right about WB potentially having older crew members before having an influx of newer members in the likes of Jozu & Marco as they’d would’ve been a bit too young to have been a part of WB’s crew 33 years ago. In which case Bakkin might have been part of WB’s first ever crew post-Rox.
The Oden v Kuri ting was beast I’m not gonna lie. It was very reminiscent of Urameshi Yuusuke. Can literally picture Yusuke siting on Kuwabara’s corpse after thrashing him and his boys 😂. (Love Kuwabara btw, so it’s all love lolz). Not gonna lie I’m low key looking forward to seeing the Oden/Kaidou flashback. I mean you have this character in Oden who’s being made out to be an unstoppable force of nature potentially being on the wrong end of a fight maybe for the first time in his life. Like just imagine it from the Wano folks perspective, must’ve looked like something out of a nightmare given he’s potrayal in the country. Plus given Oden relishes fighting, it’d be very interesting to see him fight under such circumstances.
The bit on Raizou being an ex-oniwabanshu member was also pretty interesting. I reckon he and Fuku were top of the Oniwabanshu new gen prior to him leaving several decades back which is why folks call him Fuku’s rival. Interesting he quit coz he got rejected by a chick tho lolz. Most likely Shinobu😂. A shame we haven’t seen the two interact much in the current timeline. It’s also pretty interesting that he’s regarded as a genius, so I’m hype to see him fight 😁. The man is vastly underestimated coz of his design even though his lil performance on zou was really impressive. I’m still lowkey holding out for Kuchiyose no Jutsu. What do y’all reckon Raizo’s summon would be if he had one?😁
Reckon we get like 2 more chapters of Oden’s flashback before we get back to the war. One of him meeting Toki & then getting recruited by WB & then the next about Kaidou’s invasion on Wano. Heck who knows Oda could force it into one, but it’d be nice to see some WB & Oden interaction, so won’t mind two chapters ^^.

Oh yh, forgot about Orochi lolz. The man is very cunning, given how he used Oden’s departure to acquire a massive influx of cash. It’s very likely that Orochi was already acquainted with Kaidou prior to him invading Wano, but how tho? Underworld? Illegal Trade?🤔
