Tho I'm excited for the upcoming showdown.

I feel it will not go as a 1vs1 so smoothly.
I feel it will be a team fight again then 1 vs 1 ..etc.

Kaido is still not weakened enough .

Oda for sure will make that Luffy beating Kaido was something barely achieved.

No it's not lmao. She literally took a directive from Luffy to protect Momo. All she mentioned before was helping Luddy

Her even talking about fighting Kaido only became a thing 3 chapters ago. Again, not saying they won't clash or talk, I'm saying it's not her fight.
Lmao Her plot is with her dad bro. Seriously this is has obvious has Zoro facing Kaido. Lets stop acting stupid.

As long as Yamato thinks she's Oden she will seek to face Kaido.

I doubt Yamato out of sudden says " you know I'm not oden" lol.
Exactly, her daddy issues is literally her plotline. People saying she not going to go interact with Kaido are literally making 0 sense

Say goodbye to your ZKK then mythological zoan tiger yamato is coming
What does Yamato fighting Kaido going got to do with ZKK.

What i always taught Yamato fighting Kaido. Its common sense. Thats her plotline. Is this a joke?
Her plotline being related to her father has nothing to do with her fundamentally fighting or beating Kaido lol.

Who knows, maybe next chapter she's stuck with Jack.

That's like saying that Brook at the time had to beat Ryuuma to release his curse as if Zoro wasn't needed to help.

Yamato WILL have central interactions with Kaido. We know this. What we don't know is if she'll be an instrumental tool to fighting him. She didn't gun up there to fight him with Luffy. She listened to Luffy to protect Momo.

Her central plotline has to do with mimicking Oden and saving Wano. Protecting Momo is central central that plotline

In his introduction, Kaido's main theme was resolving around the fact that you always have to bet on him in a 1 on 1 fight

And we know Oda always love to make Luffy destroy legendary myths like he did with Katakuri's track-record
This is why imo, Oda would at one point make Luffy fight Kaido in a 1 on 1, beat him and destroy this myth around always betting on Kaido in a 1 on 1
Well here we go

Yamato may join later but she's still on the first floor so unless she can fly directly to the roof,it's gonna take a long time and many twists can still occur along the way.

If help is needed elsewhere along her way,she will 100% stop to lend a hand.

Anyways Luffy beating Kaidou in a 1vs 1 is possible.

Well the same sequence implies Luffy is on the losing end as Yamato says she needs to hurry.
Luffy winning that 1v1 is impossible anyways, that's not how OP boss battles are written, far too anticlimactic.

But the thread really aged well, NGL.
Yamato will not play that great of a role. Of course she'd try to help Luffy as much as she can(probably at a moment when he'd be momentarily down), but ultimately her main role will be that of an emotional support

Oda will also use that opportunity to point out Kaido's myth of always betting on him in a 1 on 1, except that this time, it's Luffy who'd win, destroying Kaido's one-on-one myth

Defeat alone yes but it took a lot to weaken Kaido, plus we have now Yamato interferring and having her moment in thr fight eventually also, like maybe Luffy goes G4 soon then she will come in clutch when his haki runs out for those 10 minutes.

She gets beaten eventually when she geta her chapter title vs her father, then we get back to Luffy fighting Kaido 1v1, something along those lines.

Doesn't exactly count as 1v1 considering everything prior but at least Luffy lands the blows to beat Kaido alone.
