Luffy didn't order Zoro not to return or that he would have specifically soloed Kaido, and since regardless of anything Big Mom is probably about to strike back I doubt Zoro would likely hesitate to instinctively attempt to help his captain if in serious danger. He can probably be swiftly healed if they manage to get him to someone capable to, meanwhile King will probably taken on by someone else. Don't forget Law is on constant surveillance.

Basically it's instant game over for the Yonkos. Prometheus soloes but that will take long time for him to defeat the 2 Yonkos.

2. Faster method is, he can make Big Mom turning on Kaido, with his cooking skills (unlike the green bum who can't cook and can only be useful as meat shield). He will cook Big Mom oshiruko, triggers the Olin transformation and suddenly it's not 5 vs 2 anymore but 6 vs 1. RIP Kaido.

3. Using brain, he can turn invisible and attacking Kaido and Big Mom in turn when they are being close with each other. The duo muscleheads will start to think that their partner trying to sneak attack each other, and they will fight against each other.
