I thought that chapter was really, surprisingly excellent considering it had a heavy Big Mom Mama plot line which usually fills me with dread. In a bad way.
That's the good way of showing Big Mom, capricious, selfish, does whatever she wants, incredibly strong. It's a far better use of her than Olin- which I still think is happening.
It's also one of stronger Kid and Killer episodes, cause we really sort of see them working together, talking together, getting a real look at how they're partners in crime.
Luffy got his long awaited conqueror clash.
Plus Nami and Usopp getting up to shenanigans is always really good to see and has been absent for a while. And Usopp stepped up and showed what he had with some interesting new attacks.
Going forward, Killer vs Hawkins is a pretty good fight. I like Killer more than Kid, so I'm very happy if his Onigashima performance is the fight on the roof plus beating a fellow Supernova.
Nami can get Zeus back and finish Ulti, since he's been replaced by Hera. Which is good because it means Nami can fight without nerfing BM.
There's two options for Page One, hopefully he gets up and is now weakened enough for Usopp to beat him, it'll be disappointing if he's been beaten by BM. Either way, the Flying Six can fall now.
Law might team up with Kid to help hold BM off, since he's in not too bad shape. They won't beat her though.
I don't think we'll get much more of Luffy vs Kaido for a while other than the occasional page or two of them hitting each other. It's a good place to leave it while the other fights get done, only really need to go back there when it's ready to move into its next phase (Yamato showing up, probably).
