A reminder😭

:queenhear::mihugh::luuh:
The New World is controlled by the 4 Emperors and this arc is about 2 so even though I know it's going to be longer than that like every Oda estimate since 1999 it's not like Wano is a side arc that isn't related to the end, the aftermath of this is arc at the very least will include the defeat of 1 Emperor and having 3 out of 4 Road Poneglyphs.

Chapter 1012 spoiler:

- Law is chasing Zeus after entrusting Zoro to Sanji
- Kawamatsu and Izo are joining Sanji so they can protect them
- Kawamatsu is saying that Sanji is now carrying one of their greatest hopes on his back, Zoro will play an important final role and needs to rest for now
- Kiku wants to kill Kanjuro alone, Neko wants to avenge Pedro
- Denjiro and Kinemon want to protect Momo
- Zeus says to Law that no one can stop him, he will first kill Big Mom, after that he will get Namis pussy and steal the Road Porneglyph.

Big Mom will likely goto Elbaf. That might bewhere her story will finally end. Putting that aside I still have hard time believing that the alliance will defeat Kaidou let alone Luffy.

You had me in the first half but then that escalated quickly. LOL.

Problem with this is Wano is merely the conclusion of a 10 year plotline. And by itself is a nearly 3 year arc with no signs of ending.

Then you have to account for the 2 remaining Yonko aren't the only factors, but the Marines, World Government, Revolutionaries, Vegapunk, etc. Then you also have to account for the fact that Bonney and Urogue are the 2 remaining supernova without genuine focus. Then you also have to account for the idea that probably all supernova and SHF members will be relevant in the conclusion.

Then when you factor all that, then you can add Elbaf, the 4th RP, Lodestar, Laugh Tale, One Piece, Void Century, Rocks, God Valley and so on until your brain pops from trying to process on how Oda is going to finish it all.

Tbh, I think post-Wano will take another 10 years. I don't think it will ever be Oda's intention, but as long as he's motivated in drawing, I don't see him rushing his story to the conclusion. There are far bigger plot points than Wano and everything the last 10 years has built up to. In fact I think finishing 10 years will be a challenge for Oda. That's roughly ~400 chapters from this point, to which may or may not achieve everything he's going to do.

It's a GRRM situation, when you make your story too big, sometimes the conclusion is so big that it becomes the biggest portion of your story ironically. I almost can't expect the final arc being anything less than 200 chapters, and thats 5 years by itself.
Maybe I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but considering how long we are going to still be in Wano, I'm not so sure I'm wrong on this expectation

Exactly.

I think the story will end anytime between 2028-2030

No one expected wano to be this long.

It expecting the final war to take around 3 years at minimum. Before that around 5 years

You're nor setting yourself for disappointment, you're just realistic.
