Kaido and Big Mom are restrained by plot armor and PIS just as much as Big Mom was during WCI arc, if not more, the Calamities haven't used the true power and still aren't using their hybrids, the fight between Kaido and the Scabbards lasted longer than it should have with all the Scabbards in an asspull being able of injuring Kaido, Marco and Yamato joined the Alliance, Queen should have smashed Chopper a while ago and basically let Marco hit and restrain him without reacting, many of the Gifters and Headliners turned against their crewmates due to Tama or the Queen-Chopper cheap drama, Ulti and Page One are wasted on Nami and Usopp and got smashed by Big Mom to allow the SH weaklings to beat them later, etc....
If Oda is trying to tell us that the Straw Hats and their allies are the underdogs here or that there is any real danger and tensions then he's doing a very poor job at it, it's the Beast Pirates who are the underdogs here.

I expected a boring filler chapter where nothng happened and a break next week.
We get a cool chapter with developtment for Bowsette, Sanji vs Queen is actually cannon, Luffy actually gets rescued this very chapter and we see who rescue him, momo already informs people Kaido was full of shit
