Guys like luffy has slowly progressed by taking on high tiers like doflamingo, cracker, katakuri and slowly became stronger, increased his stamina and endurance, had days long battle with cracker and katakuri, and increase haki levels and unlocked advanced versions of coa and coo.

Zoro didn't progress since post ts because he only had joke battles like monet, pica, hyozo. his only extreme battle was with kamazo, that if kid himself is high tier then kamazo is not more then mid tier.

zoro jumping from mid tier to beat top top tier makes no sense. he would have slowly progresses like luffy by taking on 3 high tiers since dressrosa, like luffy.

even jimbe had more training then zoro with his days long battle with high tier ace, fighting admirals in the war, fighting bm pirates.

Zoro doesn't need to jump tiers, his EoS opponent is Mihawk he is already near that lvl
But his durability got reduced after the time skip
it makes sense tho since his end goal is Mihawk

It's not about Luffy and Zoro fighting Kaido at the same time....its about Zoro helping to nerf Kaido before the final battle between him and Luffy. Almost all of the big villains Luffy fights consists of multiple rounds with the villain getting nerfed in some way, most of the time thanks to outside help.

Why it's so controversial for Zoro to hurt Kaido with the only blade that could cut the drunken bastard I do not know....

On a serious note, it doesnt have to make sense. Zoro went from "nothing happened" to fainting against Killer moment. Does it make any sense? No, but we have to live with it for now.

I will say one thing, dont put a ceiling on Zoro's level yet when One Piece is nearing the end within 5 years

So why do Law, Kid, Hawkins, and Drake get a free pass on “leveling up” yet Zoro has to go through like 5 fights before him touching Kaido is feasible? Zoro’s cap is unknown, and the other WG captains don’t have the hype or feats to suggest they can really do much to Kaido outside of hax support (Hawkins and Law).

Another bait thread stealth-kun but I will bite.
Zoro fought for 2 years a stronger opponent than all opponents Luffy faced after TS thus Zoro is more qualified to fight Kaido than Luffy is. Luffy's combat style is inferior to Zoro's and that's why he is getting all these upgrades to be able to deal with opponents that will come while Zoro's combat style works since day one and he is only refining his Haki and getting physically stronger.
Kaido cannot be defeat without Zoro so it makes more sense that Luffy focuses on Big Mom instead and leaves Kaido to Zoro.

oda could switch hyori getting ame no habakiri and momo getting enma
