Nowhere has Oda said that he was supposed to be there 'in place of BM' as far as I've looked. I don't think DD is anything compared to BM, he gets neg-diffed anyway.

Luffy (Final Wano round) > Zoro (post recovery/Wano) > Yamato (if mastery of CoC attacks) >= Luffy (Roof) >= Zoro (Roof) > Yamato (if no mastery of CoC) >= Sanji

Kaku was much stronger because he uses swords + DF

It’s stated those numbers only factor in physical strength and don’t factor in Devil fruits. Kaku’s swordsmanship skill may put him over Jabra but Jabra was much more experienced with his fruit.

None of this was an accident. Oda likes for Zoro & Sanji fans to argue and he purposefully made it as murky as possible with Kaku & Jabra. That’s why I think King will be slightly stronger than Queen, but Queen has his technology & Zoro will be nerfed for the fight. It’ll start brand new arguments. Oda is trolling us lol.

Luffy > Zoro > Sanji with Zoro closer to Luffy’s end of the scale. But Oda muddies the water on purpose just to stir up the hornets nest.

Zoro fans can rightly say he beat King at less than 100% and Sanji fans can say they fought similar strength opponents. Oda makes it clear that Zoro is significantly stronger but every now and then he likes to give people something to fight about to keep it going.

Doing close to nothing to Luffy despite countless clean hits is not an offense worthy of YC tier, that simple.
People like Sasaki, WsW, Cracker, Snack, any Scabbard would all decapitate Luffy effortlessly...
The boy enjoys a good portion of plot armor but playing that card against 20+ clean hits is just ridiculous...

Haki blooms in the heat of battle.
Zoro awakened Ryuo against Daz Bones...

King only makes sense if Zoro is still hurt and if Black Blade is needed to kill Kaido.

Luffy awakened Haoshoku coating against Kaido. Known users of Haoshoku coating:

• Roger
• Whitebeard
• Kaido
• Luffy
• Linlin

Possible users:

• Zoro

Suspected users:

• Mihawk
• Rayleigh
• Shanks
• Sengoku
• Garp (?)

And some other top tiers.

There are probably at least TEN people alive that can coat their attacks with Haoshoku.

There is only ONE person alive that has forged a Black Blade. Forging a Black Blade is way too prestigious to be wasted on the likes of King.

List out his "multiple hard battles"

Your presumption is that anyone who faces Queen must be stronger than Doffy because you presume Doffy cannot face Queen....just shows how bad your reasoning is. Chopper is above Doffy then...he faced Queen for 20 minutes

Especially when we saw (in the manga) how Sanji couldn't even push Doffy back. But instead of admitting your wrong scaling, you dig yourself a deeper hole.
