I just realized something really funny. Big Mom has been more useful to the Alliance this Arc than to fcking Kaido. She has done 0 damage to the Alliance, nothing, it's a joke.

While technically true, it would have been a 5vs1 against Kaido and he would be up shit creek.

I just wish this chapter was named after Nami's epithet. At least the plot is finally getting to the Beast Pirates officers' defeat.

I think people were wrong about Oda giving every SH a chapter with their name/epithet in this arc. It was just a coincidence for Luffy, Robin, and Chopper. Besides it never made much sense for Chopper’s named chapter to be him starting a fake fight with Queen and Robin’s named chapter to be her starting her fight with Maria instead of when she finishes the fight

I see this as a natural progression of Nami’s fighting style, even if it’s an asspull in general. She’s always been noted by other in the series as well as its creator to have an acute sense of the weather and wind patterns, all of which has long been part of her arsenal even before she honed those skills on Weatheria during the timeskip. Been wondering for a long time how Zeus would become a permanent part of her abilities, since his connection to Big Mom always seemed like a giant roadblock, but here we are…

Worst Nami fight for sure. The climatact was so unique, it wasn't just lightnings.

To be honest I dislike firstyle the though of Zeus joining Nami as powerup, but with fuse with the clmatact, it became little unique.
The duo seems perfect to each other and to be honest, even if many people dislike it for right reason, Zeus becaming Nami powerup was already shown since Wci arc so it is okay? But Zeus und combo with Nami could became a dynamic duo with crazy skills.
Because that im mad about the current chapter, the potential of getting a great battle is vanished, it was the perfect time to give Zeus and Nami more screentime and a perfect duo work, not just let Zeus make the most work...

100 percent fine with it. No amount of Haki or Usopp tinkering with her Clima-tact would have ever placed her on a level where she could actively compete with Veteran level characters.

We've literally been predicting Nami would get Zeus permanently since she took him during WCI, and her needing to keep him was a major argument in terms of her being a viable member of the Pirate Kings crew come EoS. But of course, now that something that's been predicted for years now has happened, the complaints are going to come rolling in.

Not to mention this meshes with the thematic "Witch" element Oda was going for with her character. A "Magical staff" capable of shooting lightning at will. I think it suits her character perfectly.

The powerup itself, yes, not the DF or character from where they came. It’s a cloud that can emit lightning and thunder, all things we’ve seen Nami use to great effect throughout the series. Giving her a bit of Linlin’s soul IS a very dumb choice, I agree, but not one that can’t be explained.

We know BM uses her own soul to make homies so chances are the more soul she takes from herself weaker she is
Plus it is the tehnique of Big Mom not Nami's. If Nami had her fruit her fighting style could be different
