If what Bao said was true, Marco has a quite low bounty for someone with a mythical fruit and serving under WB for at least 30y, much of this time as his strongest crewmate.
I always thinked that Marco would be around 2b, and that Teach bounty jump to more than 2b was because he defeated Marco, with Teach getting something around 1b for defeating Ace(550m), leving the Shichibukai, Invading Impel Down and taking WB fruit and them another 1b for ending the WB pirates and finally becoming a Emperor, but seems that thats not the case.

I can see that angle with Marco being with wb for a long time but I feel king also has a lot going for him

I get the feeling king is going to flip a switch very soon and get a massive amount of hype

As it was stated, he was accepted as a proper yonko after the payback war... after defeating marco. And we know that bounties do not decrease when it comes to big shots (remember rayleigh, and marco was like wb's "vice captain"). So marco being around 2b makes all the more sense for me, considering bb's bounty.

We don't know yet. I mean sure, blackbeard won but it was stated that he never used wb's devil fruit after marineford. So he just used his darkness fruit and probably haki.
We have seen his fight against ace. And marco >(>) ace. Without a doubt.
So it is kinda fishy how bb easily won the war against marco...
I suspect a heavy betrayal on marco's side, someone/some people within the remnants choose to side with bb instead of with marco. I bet there is at least even a former commander who sided with bb.
Otherwise, it just doesn't make sense to me, how bb could easily destroy the entire wb crew without using the gura gura no mi.
But we will see.
