He failed to cut Kaido the first time alone because he wasn't using haki. When Zoro talks about control you talk about controlling haki.

That was not a team attack. Zoro and Killer both attack Kaido individually. They might have both decide attack at the same time but it weren't working together to cut Kaido.

As you can see, no haki

Brooks cut a dragon. While Zoro completely cut through a dragon, killed it, and took its head off with one attack. Understand the difference. That's like the difference between Zoro scarring Kaido and the Scabbards cutting Kaido.

Just because you can cut a tree branch off with an axe with one swing doesn't mean you can cut the same tree down with the same axe with one swings. Brooks cutting the dragon is like cutting the tree branch. Zoro killing the dragon is like cutting the tree down with one swing with an axe.

No there is haki . Its just no coated. Cos zoro was trying to restrain enma . So after he notes that the haki output is lil and he needs to release more of enma else he would not be able to do any reasonable damage . Stop trying to change the English language . Not everytime would some one coat their swords

Move to Perospero, who was blown away by the attack from live floor side by Sanji, wake up and get attacked from behind again. The person who attacked Perospero was Nekomamushi. Nekomamushi says "I will kill you, Pedro's enemy". Perospero asks why he keeps blaming himself, and complains that he lost his arm to his self-destruction. Nekomamushi is angry at Perospero's words and continues to attack. Perospero defends with Candy Armor

Artistic inconsistencies around haki aside, considering the scabbards cut Kaido multiple times without visible hardening, but were by definition using ryuo.
The next page where Zoro says specifically he needs to unleash more of Enma's potential is very relevant. As are Zoro's comments about Luffy's ryuo.

- Luffy travels with momonuske to the top of Onigashima to face against Kaido.

- Cut to robin and black maria's battle, black maria uses illusions to trick robin and brook

Robin see's her mother and brook sees his time in the rumbar pirates batteling armored guards

- Monomuske shows luffy something in kaido's bible and Luffy says "i understand now what must be done"

cut back to robin. Robin watches brook's illusion and bears witness to an incident. upon seeing it her face is in utter shock!!

-Robin replies with "Your??

-Brook: I would have done everything to keep my identity a secret, but now you have seen it. Its to late now!

This is fake, right?
