I've watched / read Bleach up until the Fullbringers Arc, i stopped after that. I used to really like Bleach back during the Soul Society Arc and the first half of the Arrancar Arc.
I should get back on it before the anime comes out an read the final arc. Or maybe i should just wait to see the adaptation?
Maybe do both? There is a chance they will at least extend/adapt the ending with more content.
Manga was good until the last 10 chapters imo. The final arc is way more violent, the enemy powers are way more unique, and there's a lot more of them vs Espada to showcase (literally they are Lettered A-Z with unique names lol)
If there is a chance the Anime does it better, then i guess wait for that, otherwise, it can't hurt to read the manga first. I half expect the anime to edit some of the truly violent parts, because the 1000 year blood war is by far the most shocking Bleach got with things.
See that's an actual fair point and counter argument. It would be like Luffy getting those shots in marineford and "sacrificing 10 years of his life" bs
I think regardless of my opinion of Zoro or Sanji would be the worst thing that would happen if Momo out of nowhere got these powers
I would rather see Sanji fight Kaido and Zoro fight Queen than see this Momo bullshit

Soul Society Arc, for what it is, not exaggerating, is one of the best stand alone arcs in every manga.
After that Kubo´s limits as writer became more apparent and it got sillier and way more repetitive.

I'm critical of certain aspects. But I have zero issues with the way Oda goes about conveying his plot points, because I mostly read One Piece for the overarching themes, and underling tones. How Oda gets there makes no difference to me, as long as what's conveyed beneath the surface remains solid. That's not just for One Piece, but any work of fiction I follow.
Wait, you literally said in the previous message I was replying to that One Piece was a shonen and that you didn’t read it for the overarching themes and tones.

Do you think i should reread? is the rest of the arcs very important to understand the last story arc?
I do remember the overall plot of all of the arcs, and remember most powers / characters, i might not remember some names and stuff. I don't remember a lot of the Fullbringers arc tho.
It's ok for @T.D.A to not believe in ZKK. After all, the majority of Zoro fans don't seem to believe in it either, like @anon for example . And it's okay. Don't force them into believing something they don't want to. Let them have their own joy of watching Zoro do some cool shit, not just ZKK.
