I think i wanted that because the SH didn’t have real challenge since the Ts so for their first real fight I wanted something huge

Per skip we had : alabasta : the sh showing something new or new tactics, Skypiea : same, for Enies Lobby : same. So we had natural progression even if the fights weren’t extreme diff.

But here I have the feeling the SH at fishmen island could have done the same as they did now. (For Franky Jimbe and Robin at least)

Did Sanji get a Powerup in Alabasta?

Both of these ignore stats and context yet I have seen them being used way too often

Don't think so, Dragon Claw requires haki, while in the chapter she doesn't seem to have it. Maybe after she gets it she would do it with her demonic form.

Seems like CoA would be a huge power up for her with fishman karate and dragon claw in that form.

Trebol was also strong but his showing were really disappointing I agree.

Nah, nothing to do with Kyros. Just look at Diamante´s attacks and how he was knocked out.
Dude had East Blue lvl attacks partly.

Trebol idea was cool, and him pulling around the ship was also a good feat, but bad durability.

No but he was pushed quite far. But Zoro showed new things, Usopp and Chopper were pushed really really far, Nami showed new things and Luffy went extreme diff.
It was real hard struggle overall

I didn't look at it much but I would not be surprised if that Demon was indeed black shaped. That could be an hint eventually. Although Demon per nature can be like that.
