Trebol idea was cool, and him pulling around the ship was also a good feat, but bad durability.

It has everything to do with Kyros because Kyros was Diamante opponent. Kyros overall portrayal was really good : 2000 fights clean victories, taught Rebecca COO, was great even as a toy, attacked doffy, head locked Buffalo etc etc. Kyros was monster type.

And diamanté for most of the fight managed to clash with him. And even in the end when Kyros went mad they still clashed sword to sword for some time and Kyros beat him with trueno bastard.

Half moon glaive was strong.

Overall Diamanté was a tricky fighter, with mobility and dirty plays but he was by no means weak.

I think judging off the panel there are so many non black parts of her body she might indeed not be blackened per nature that would mean no chance of haki. Unless Oda made her body weird and she is.

I didn't look at it much but I would not be surprised if that Demon was indeed black shaped. That could be an hint eventually. Although Demon per nature can be like that.

No because i am not faulting Diamante for getting injured by Kyros, or getting beaten by him.

With the flying six down, I'm suspecting we get Sanji vs Queen in the next couple of chapters.

We also have Killer vs Hawkins, Inu vs Jack (with hybrid), Raizo vs Fukurokuju and Neko vs Perospero before that. But all of these likely won't last long, maybe just few panels each so that in 1/2 chapters they'll be over.
The two top Calamities and the two Yonko will probably be the last ones to fall.

@BleakAsh Implications for Sanji and Zoro vs Queen and King, if Momo succeeds in stopping Onigashima's fall then Luffy will have enough time to beat Kaido. While, Zoro and fight with King. Marco is really a hindrance here, he needs to be sidelined soon. Waiting for this particular development.

Caribou is not switching sides yet, it seems SHs are safe from this end. He can play a support role very well.

We got an indication from text spoilers that Shinobu finished the conversation by saying, No I wont do this. But, now it is clear that Momo will eventually convince her to save Wano.
Maybe the jaw drop gag will make a return but with beast pirates with time

I don't think Luffy will solo Kaido..
do i want it to be the case.. Maybe...but seeing how zoro has a purpose i reckon not.

Whatever momo does won't affect the roof top fight set up.

Yeah the wooden stick and weak point was stupid but I was overall responding to that :

I think that applies to Vergo, Smoker and Pica, Diamante and Trebol were legitimately disappointing.
And yeah, Zoro veteran level was a thing until this arc.

I agree overall that people were underestimating Vergo Smoker Pica etc. But even if the fight were great people are also underestimating Trebol and Diamanté. They had weird showings but power level wise they are/were strong

Nami and Usopp « fights » were special the flyers were far stronger than them and they needed to go full retard or full plot armor to survive : I agree completely that one or at least 2 head but should have KO Nami for good. Ulti was in hybrid it was a direct hit etc. There are no reasons for Nami to stay conscious after that.

And I don’t even talk about Page one who was stuck on the dog doing nothing while know the guy was strong and could have killed/maimed it on the spot.

But even outside that :



Yeah but like always in One piece everything that happen off screen is not really important. Sanji is currently « fighting » Hybrid Queen but we all know that the second they will be on screen Sanji will be stomped and will need the RS.

It’s like Jimbe vs WsW they seemed equal off screen exchanging blows but it was just a way to mystify us. The moment the real fight was on screen the fight turned an other way.

About the Franky thing : I don’t think he was pushed enough. We didn’t have anything new : an other radical beam ? V slash ? Not enough. He is more or less the same as fishmen island. I wanted Sasaki to crush the General and Franky being helpless and either showing something new or awaking an other PU Haki or something else.
Franky used radical beam as a finisher already nothing new here.

Franky was pushed by Sasaki but we never really feared for his life.



WsW made a paper cut on Jimbe and his fangs shigan were lame. Jimbe is strong and I don’t mind him winning low high diff but the way of doing it wasn’t that impressive. WsW style was a real problem for me.

Here with robin we have more or less a classic fight and it’s why it is likely the best out of them. Wi

th real back and forth etc, Robin showed new things more giant form fishman karate her demon form etc. Robin having a real fight is already exceptional so I won’t be too greedy

Brook Usopp and Chopper were put aside fight wise but let’s see the end of the arc.

All in all, my impressions was:
Good, fun fights. Not really memorable, though. But considering these are the first "main 1v1" for both Jinbei and Robin (I don't count that skypie fight, because it was basically Robin destroying the fat dude once they were away from the ruins, and Jinbei was tagged with Sanji for their fight against Wadatsumi), they were ok. And as I said before, I love Franky vs Sasaki. I had a blast reading it.
Hoping that Sanji vs Queen and Killer vs Hawkins are amazing as well. Don't really care about the rest of the fights, though.

It’s because people are sleeping on Kyros. But Kyros was a monster.

Trebol was also strong but his showing were really disappointing I agree.

Kyros was confirmed by Koby to be really powerful.
