People should really get over Sanji vs Doffy. Sanji has grown stronger. He is on the same lvl as YCs now doesn’t matter if it makes sense or not it’s how it is now.

Sanji received his Raid suit for a reason. Outside of clear power ups (Raid Suit, Enma, Future Sight and Internal destruction/Barrier/ACoC Haki) their growth rate between arcs is rather small. So small they, according to Zoro himself, don't really notice it. And that statement was made by Zoro by a time each of them had a proper all out fight each arc to grow, while Sanji post the Doffy encounter had no real fight. Just a little skirmish with Daifuku and Judge.

Stop assuming characters just get a random stat boost out of nowhere that makes them jump in tiers.

It's not really about strength but the manner in which it was done. It discards build-up and characters- if Oda wanted Zoro vs King, he should've given the build-up and King himself more attention. Why are they interested in each other? What do they have to offer each other as characters? What growth is King providing (strength-based or otherwise) to Zoro? Not just slapping two people who've never interacted before into a fight.

Zoro was desperate to get up for this? Zoro vs King was fine with building around it- Zoro vs King for the sake of Zoro vs King is bland, however.

The fight will likely be over without Asura's use in 15 minutes, but the issue is mostly narrative based not scaling based.

Though, on another note, Marco did call Zoro the star player- and the chapter is literally titled after that. Idk how any Sanji fan can use this chapter of all things to downplay or vouch equality and stuff given the literal name of chapter lol

Yeah it's okay to be disappointed by the match-up due to the "lack of build up". People have diffent tastes. I'm sure many Sanji fans'd ve picked King as Sanji's opponent rather than Queen.
But it's wrong to diss up King just because some Zoro fans don't like the match up. King is strong. The fight won't end in anything less than a mid/high diff. Many Zoro fans fell into this trap and now they won't be able to enjoy the sweet swordmanship fight between our beloved character and a 1st commander.

Because it only takes less than 15 minutes to expose a Lonko crew as a fraud, sweetie.

Of course when you have a monster like Kizaru willing to handle the Big Mom/Kaido issue, then other two monsters like him, than the FA of the strongest navy ever that will fight Luffy later in the future, the whole might of the WG, the SSG...of course a Yonko crew isn't going to look good if that's your comparison metric.

After all, just in the pre timeskip, Marine HQ + Warlords ~ 4 emperors and crews

Basically zoro fighting king (won't be extreme diff) isn't a bad thing since even marco is hyping king up last min. Infact last time I checked bigmom wanted king not queen on her crew. Lastly kings race seems to be thag much better since he didn't have to enhance himself like king

Also oda is good. He wants sanji and zoro close so that when kaido flees from luffy and company he can kick zoro up there to kaido beheading kaido at the capital for all to see. With kaido saying he has now found a samurai as worthy as oden
