There's no shot the Tobi Roppo are getting up again after they had a big announcement over their defeat, maybe with some minor roles outside fighting straw hats like Who's Who and CP0 situation.

That's pretty disingenuous to say imo. We haven't had an arc where enemies consistently get up due to their powers, and we've seen it happen multiple times already.

If Lance is hinting at that actually happening, it would be better to assume something is weird and they aren't out.

The real answer to this equation is that Zoro needs to kill Kaido for plot to make sense be it pre cursor foreshadowing or the fact that nothing but killing Kaido is the answer. Every other method, capturing, defeating, scarring have failed.

Is Luffy gonna kill Kaido with a punch? Luffys punch didnt even kill Buggy when they fought

Why should Awakening be less special for Zoans, so that you can waste it on mid tiers, especially Sasaki that flop.
