Well, it’s pretty obvious to me given Killer and Zoro matchups that they’re weren’t/aren’t clear of YC territory.
The same thing might be true for Kidd and Law. How could 4 YC fighters put in that much work against two emperors if the gap is as big as the Kaido+BM one shots would have you believe?
Killer and Kid did nothing against Kaidou the scabbards were not able to, arguably the scabbards did more than Kid.
Law has an ability predestined against durability monsters.

But even then, it’s not like Zoro is going to mid diff King. So Zoro was putting in that much work against emperors despite being Yc1/Yc1+ in terms of power.
Marco appears at high speed and blocks King's attack with his “Fushi Azami” (Immortal Azami Flower - 不死薊), the same attack with which he blocked Kizaru's “Yasakani no Magatama” in Marineford (now that attack has a name).
