yeah like marco didnt fight kizaru at MF and is like the strongest yonko commander we've seen in the series yet.

sanji surpasses marco only when he beats an admiral which is EoS.

Looks like they can put Marco down in less than 1 hour, and walk away just fine afterwards. So Marco can give the duo some degree of mid difficulty.

That means Marco needs at least some degree of high difficulty to defeat either of them 1 vs 1.

Zoro and Sanji should match in Sanji's case and surpass that in Zoro's case post Wano


There are characters like Benn, EoS Shiryu, probably old Ray who still stand between Marco and Admirals, so surpassing Marco will not be Sanji's final benchmark to be able to defeat an Admiral EoS

kaido used his hybrid form against luffy, zoro and law but he didn't use adv coc until them hurt him. Yamato couldn't do that

But Katakuri for now looking far better than clown Queen and the background King. So far they brought disgrace to whole commander bunch after Smoothie. Let us see what these clowns can do before making judgement. Doflamingo himself can clown the clown Queen.

Its the Luffy opponent syndrome

- Kaido looks far better in portrayal and competence than Big Mom even though they are "equal"

- Lucci looks far better in portrayal over WsW even without Haki and they were supposedly "equal".

- Crocodile is by far one of the weakest Shichibukai and was ironically portrayed as some sort of equal to Doflamingo at Marineford (which we know is not true)

Same could be said for any Yonko commander comparing to Katakuri. Luffys opponents last far longer page to page because Oda makes Luffy struggle the most and gives him 15 chapter fights.

did you even read my reply on powerscaling consistency?

the birdcage was quite clearly one among many instances of oda choosing plot over powerscaling.
that doesnt mean the powerscaling is inconsistent all over.

The powerscaling in one piece is a bit inconsistent, which is why portrayal>feats of strength, the fact that one piece remains consistent to a certain extent is impressive given how long the story is

Kid is a durable monster. Luffy durability became dogshit in wano. Fucking Kinemon was conscious after taking Kaidou attack meanwhile simple attack KOed Luffy.

Oda violated Luffy ngl. He kept giving him that silly white eyes. Kid didn't even clad himself in Haki and has been eating Yonko attacks left, right and center.

What?

Marco fighting King and Queen together doesn't mean Queen can beat Marco in a 1v1 or that Marco can beat King in a 1v1. Marco job was to help out everyone in the live floor and hold King and Queen off.

marco spent his flames on saving the fodder (like literal thousands) from the ice oni virus. he was quite clearly nerfed.
and he still fought two yonko commanders at the same time and kept them at bay for like what 15 chapters now?
i'd say marco mid diffs queen and high diffs king in 1v1.

hence i wont say sanji ~ marco post wano yet.
maybe after 1 more arc idk.

also i quite clearly said that marco is the strongest YC we've seen in the story yet in my original post. benn beckman is probably above him in strength and i expect EoS to be at that same level.
