Hakai's probably the strongest strike we've seen in the series, so considering Zoro could block it for a few seconds means he could probably block at least one advanced CoC blow without being injured *if* he can react fast enough

Tbh, while yes, it would be nice to have all 10 crew members be major contributors to 1v1 fights, its not at all bad writing or really a bad move by oda.

He's made a point several times, and even through Luffy, that not everyone in his crew is strong enough to do everything. They do what they can to keep their captain victorious and alive, and vice versa for Luffy keeping his crew alive, and in that sense Oda has been extremely consistent when it comes to those themes.

So when you look back at the last 40 chapters of the raid, it's understandable why certain characters thus far have not had straight forward fights (Usopp vs Page 1/Nami vs Ulti) or lost said fights (Chopper and Queen, Usopp and Page 1/Ulti) and why that is fundamentally OK.

When you look at those that have been what we call "shafted" by the plot (Nami, Usopp, Chopper, Brook), you can see that most of these people have had nice big moments this arc this far that signify decent contribution to the plot/raid.

- Chopper and his medicine, him striking/holding off Queen before Sanji

- Brook cutting Zeus again, freeing Sanji, taking put Black Maria's weapon, defeating all of her fodder in 1 strike.

- Nami striking Ulti several times, getting Zeus back, and defeating Ulti in the end.

So now while some people might not "like" these portrayals, Oda has done at least something to show them properly fighting or contributing.

Usopp though.....needs something, and I am banking Oda saving something for him the coming chapters, whatever that may be. And that's just based on what we have at this time. The longer this raid goes, the more signficant chances we get of weaker strawhats doing signficant things, even those like Jinbe/Franky continuing to contribute

The problem with Chopper and Brook though is that their “moments” are no where near as cool or interesting as what the other SHs did.

Who actually cared about the Ice Oni Virus subplot? It came off as filler that we all knew wouldn’t actually pose a serious threat. Chopper then had a “fight” with Queen, but it was completely off screened, and it basically amounted to nothing, with Queen revealing that he was just fucking around.

Brook cutting Zeus against isn’t really cool or interesting since we already saw him do the same exact thing in WCI. Afterwards, Brook was basically nothing but Robin’s janitor, with him cleaning up the fodders while Robin fights the strong character. Everything that Brook as done in Wano is objectively inferior to what Franky and Robin did.

If Usopp wants to become a “brave warrior,” he needs to show that he can hold his own against strong melee fighters, and P1 would have been the perfect opportunity for him to do so

Luffy is going to fight 3 admirals at once, as was foreshadowed at MF. Oda was going to make Yami teach stronger than 3 admirals. That's the level of final villain.

Akainu is a loser who got 2 shot by a deathbed Yonko. Meanwhile Kaido competes with Primebeard, Roger, Shanks etc

Aokiji who is Akainu's equal, is currently Teach's underling That's the guy Akainu took 10 days to beat

Very very bid difference between fruit attacks like that and physical attacks backed by CotC. Oda was very careful to not have him clash with that kind of attack. Only Luffy could negate it after getting advanced CotC

Luffy gear 4 barrage didn't even damage kaido to the extent tatsumaki did.

Zoro would've deflected ragnarok back at kaido, and overpowered him in the process.

Ragnarok can't do shit to zoro, zoro was already on the ground and thunder bagua couldn't even put him to sleep.

Zoro survived hakai mainly due to Law’s intervention not because he tanked anything. He was removed before the attack had the chance to hit him. Just being in the vicinity of the attack even for a split second was enough to put him in serious condition for trying to block it. It was a suicidal attempt to protect others. While it was impressive, it does not take away the fact that Zoro would have been dead.

Dude Vista stalemated MIhawk and he had to beg for postponement. Shanks' top officers made a name for themselves, so they are likely much stronger than Vista. EoS Zoro might not even beat Lucky Roo

Being PK means being freest on the ocean noob. That means you have to be able to beat the navy. That's not a problem for BM, but Yonko are.
