I really like Ushimaru handled this way. It's like a noble and elegant version of Bardock, with that bittersweet touch about him being unknown. It really drives home the significance of what Zoro will accomplish and I already liked Yamato so I can't wait for them to meet.
Kaido looks really beastly in these past chapters, I really like it.
Now I'm feeling the Kaido's dangerous tension as an unstoppable antagonist being highlighted since 3 arcs. We have Yamato here who has top tier Haki, top tier stats, mythical zoan hybrid, yet she can "just" keep up with him while taking heavy damage and being exhausted.
