So you think Luffy will beat Kaidou (non-awakening version) while Zoro will kill the even stronger version of Kaidou (awakening version) that is recovered to full health, even after beating King? Seems like a scenario with too much spotlite for Zoro and too little spotlite for Luffy imo.
What?
Since when is the "awakened-version" the "stronger" version?
How do you come up with this?
How do you come up with him recovering "full-health", too?
Awakening isn't some kind of additional Zoan form that's even stronger than Hybrid.
Let me explain...
Luffy will defeat Kaido in a 1-on-1. That will be the biggest feat of this arc.
Kaido will acknowledge Luffy as someone stronger than him and as someone worthy of becoming Pirate King.
Kaido, after his defeat, will recover (thanks to awakening, since one of the uses of awakening, is to make Zoans wake back up after their loss) a small amount to still be a threat.
This is when Zoro steps up and decides to protect everyone in Luffy's absence.
Zoro will most likely get two attacks on Kaido.
One on Oni Kaido (Hybrid or base), where Kaido acknowledges him as the monster samurai of Oden's like.
And a second hit on Dragon Kaido, where he repeats the dragon-slaying feat of Ryuma over the Flower Capital.
This will be a great feat for Zoro.
However, it still won't trump Luffy's feat of defeating the strongest in a 1-on-1.
Zoro's feat will only be possible thanks to the work Luffy accomplished first.
Luffy would have gotten Roger~esque acknowledgement.
While Zoro gets Oden/Ryuma~esque acknowledgement...
