Aight, so this is where we’re at now:

Kin’emon - alive despite multiple fatal hits from Kaido
Kanjuro - alive despite being struck down by virtually everyone he knows
Orochi - alive despite no fewer than seven separate beheadings
Kiku - ???

Even when he writes a female character who is biologically male, Oda can’t help himself from giving his ladies no agency, importance, or reprieves from the brink of death :few:

i went back and looked at chap 672 i thought law had repaired kinemon but it looks to be sanji so possibly this plus law never permanently fixing kinemon is why he is still able to be split in two on top of that the torso was soaked in sea water so maybe that had a affect as well lol honestly not sure just a assumption
It's genuinely awful to waste panel time on it but at the very least it fits with how they were able to play around with his face despite Law not being around, even though I would've preferred that being a joke or never touched upon over this.

Zoro himself wasnt impressed with his own Asura. Kaido called him and Law annoying afterwards

Zoro looked good on the rooftop but Law a peer to Luffy is actually making a Yonko vomit blood right now in a similar state, something Zoro could not ever do even with his strongest attack
I've already countered every single one of these talking points.

As for the rest. All the of early attacks on Kaido amounted to nothing. Like is said, he called the supernova Captain attacks tricks. Their attacks didn't weaken his skin so Zoro can scar.

Neither Luffy nor Yamato has caused significant damage Kaido. If they did the manga would have told us. Yes, he started to weaken and most of that is thanks to the scar Zoro gave him. Scarring Kaido has an effect on his body. The scar Oden gave him started hurt while he was fighting the Scabbards.

Zoro did make Kaido vomit blood.

Yes, Zoro wasn't satisfied with his attack because he wanted to take out Kaido with it. Regardless, he is still the first person to scar Kaido in hybrid mode, his strongest mode.

The broken bones was an excuse to weaken his attack and stop him for causing even more damage to Kaido and severely weakening him early on. His flying dragon blaze scared big mom. There would be no reason for that attack to scare her if that attack didn't have the potential to cause him significantly damaged. That was before she saw him cut Kaido.

You are forgetting Zoro's goal is become the WSS. He has a strength base goal and Kuma already considered him to have equal value to Luffy pre time skip.[/QUOTE]

Couldn't word that any better

King is weaker than Sanji, just like both Kaku/Jabra were weaker than Sanji.
The only thing sanji is weaker than king in is cooking.

And Zoro scarred Kaido for life in 1 on 1 while Law and Kid are fighting as a duo. With that said i agree they are superior to Zoro featwise due to the fact their awakening is a mode unlike Zoro's asura+ the fact Zoro doesn't control coc yet, but they are still on the same tier

Luffy has nothing to do with that considering he is a tier ahead of them, or at least for now since Kid may awake adcoc himself
Zoro used his strongest attack on an enemy that made no serious move to defend himself and left a scar on him. Said enemy immediately stepped away from him to fight someone that he actually considered worth his time. The next time we see Zoro, he’s full health and fighting against a commander, while Kid and Law are fighting against a somebody on par with Kaido. They are not on the same level.

And no, Zoro did not fight Kaido 1v1. That whole rooftop scene was all of them together.

Luffy does factor in, given that one of the themes of the story is that there are people that exist that only Luffy can fight. This was acknowledged by Zoro himself on EL, and reiterated with Zoro in attendance on TB. Law and Kid have been separated alongside Luffy from every other supernova. They are Luffy’s rivals. They’re two of those people that only Luffy can and will be able to handle in the future. They’re a step behind him for now, but not so far as to be on the same tier as someone who is fighting a person that their opponent could dogwalk.

Bullshit. We literally see kaido in hybrid tryingbto defend against zoros attack with his club.

The moment luffys bounty tripled theirs was a definite that they weren't his rivals anymore
