I believe that Luffy will get Gear 5 but Kid and Law has Awakening. Maybe Oda thinks its Luffy's time too.

I don't think he gets another form here but instead will learn to incorporate Adv CoC into his current forms to beat Kaido. He might show something new, though.

But it’s pretty obvious that the importance of the fight means he’ll break out something at least visually new and interesting (the various Haki upgrades don‘t count). Boundman especially is well out of date.

Whether it’s G5 or a new G4 form I don’t know, but there will be something new that is being saved for when Luffy vs Kaido really kicks off, after all the other fights are done.

Why don't Haki upgrades count? That's literally the "new thing".

Boundman is "out of date", but he trained it with Hyogoro to incorporate the new Haki, and still hasn't used KKG.

I don't think you quite understand the significance of Boundman's design. He is a "guardian deity".

Luffy now is using 3 type Advance CoO-CoA-CoC so effective by thinking. He actually isnt that type though. I dont doutb if it is beckmann, but luffy. Oh wait, luffy is genius on fighting only. Use it for argument.

So he won't use G4 so early if he thinks he have no chance of winning.

- erased the G4 time limit
- or he simply desactivate G4 after each attack

No, he's probably just using G2 with internal destruction barrier haki.

He is not using G4 there, that's a normal Ad CoA stance punch.
All of Luffy's G4 forms has a black underline on his eyes which we clearly see is not the case there, Luffy's hair also always go up floating in the air which is also not the case here.
He is in his base.

It's pretty close to his standard pose when aiming jet pistol, I think Oda just prefers the look with the thumb in that position now.
