He doesn't feel the damage.
That's not what it does at all.
Mastering enma mean it's a normal sword.
The entire point of enma is to help zoro release more haki than he normally can
Mastering it means he can release as much haki as he wants during battle
It won't nerf enma's main ability

Enma only draws out the users haki when they lack mastery. Oden never had his haki drawn out by the sword you are writing your own series at this stage
Thing is that enma's ability was never mentioned during the oden flashback
Zoro himself stated during the rooftop that he "needs to unleash more of enma's power"
So yeah, it's still sucking out zoro's haki

Not really.
Zoro literally had the same issue initially when he used Shusui in Thriller Bark, his attacks were imbalanced due to Shusui striking harder than the Wado and the Sandai.
Here again, the issue is with control. Controlling one's haki flow and mastering it fully makes sure that Enma alone doesn't flare up every now and then to cause imbalance in Zoro's attacks (like what happened in the Tatsumaki on the rooftop).
Mastering it won't remove the fact that enma draws out haki tho
Just like mastering shusui didn't remove Shu shusui's durability
Zoro will learn to fight and turn enma's curse into an advantage by essentially overcoming the course, but not removing it
