Kaido can't outspeed even a one-legged Luffy with FS. He "outsped" Luffy because Luffy was angry/flustered and not using FS. When he KOed him, his followers didn't even praise Kaido. They praised his club. I checked the Japanese.

Again, all he has to do is avoid the club with FS, and Kaido can't do shit to him.

You keep making excuses over and over. No it wasn't prime Kaido, no he wasn't really trying, no he wasn't in hybrid form.

Kaido's combat skills are almost trash for a Top Tier. That's why he's the 1st Top Tier Luffy is taking down. Only reason he's the "strongest" is because of his durability, which Luffy will go through with advanced CoA.

I'm not even downplaying Kaido lol I just said its silly to think Kaido didn't use hybrid form because we didn't see it on panel. He might or might not have used it. Shit most of the fight was probably off screened anyway.

And even if it was base or hybrid kaido, it wouldn't matter today as Kaido had 20 years to get stronger.

The point I am making is that Oda does as he pleases, things happen to fit the story, to fit Oda's intention.
This chapter clearly intends to hype up Oden and it does that while at the same time it doesnt actually shit on Kaido, for reasons mentioned. It is rather brilliant writing to do so and get the masses to say A one chapter and say B in the next one.

and Kaido is 20 years younger and not even in his Hybird form

and fucking chapter is not even out ....
