Imagine one of the first RPG you played being one of the absolute best RPG emotionally (Suiko 2), heartbroken seeing Jowy's conflicting situations, Nanami's situations etc, playing it for like the 10th time and then to play the prequel, only to find out the MC from the prequel can be obtained in Suiko 2. To witness 2 MCs unleash their runes ulti in turn, anf traveling together in the map with the heroic BGM, the feeling is like soo nostalgic and majestic.

Yeah, that's really nostalgic thinking about the game.
I still remember how confusing it was, trying to recruit all 108 characters, while it was still hard to access internet / online guides those days.
I had to go to computer rent, read the walkthrough, then either print them or write it down in book. That's for another game though, didn't read online guide for Suikoden 2.
Still remember how pain in the ass it was to recruit Gordon. My English was bad too so I couldn't tell the instruction. Instead of making 50,000 potch profit, I lost 50,000 potch in trading and the counter to recruit him became 100,000 potch lol.
Then how confusing it was to recruit Sasuke and Mondo. I couldn't find the damn Ninja Village forever. I remember a classmate said "Ninja Village is in the forest", yet he didn't specify which forest. So I got lost and instead of searching in Banner Village forest, I searched them in Ryube Village forest.. then when I finally knew the Ninjas are in Banner forest, it is still pain in the ass to locate the entrance.
Then that feeling when recruiting the BEASTS. Shiro, Feather and Sigfried. Thought they will be really OP. (Yeah they look really OP for new players who don't upgrade the characters' equipments and weapon levels).
Then the damn dice game to recruit the fishermen.
Then that "die, pig!!" scene by Luca Blight. And Luca Blight's rampage during the early game. I remember I got cold feet for real, trying to beat the monster in my first playthrough, while he kept destroying my poor characters left and right. Luca Blight's fight is easily 1 of most epic boss fight in game history, I think...
Jowy's betrayal. Damn, I got spoiled by a friend about his betrayal so when the moment comes I wasn't really surprised...
Iirc the child me's favorite arc of the game was Two River arc. That arc's animation, for PS1 days' standard, was really awesome. While usually the big wars happen on that minigame war map, Two River arc brought its war to the normal map instead of usual mini map.

Iirc, my first playthrough's final party consists of:
Miklotov Camus Shiro
Riou Luc and another mage I forget
Then slowly, Gadget made it into final party, thinking he is the best tank in the game (lol)
Then Georg replaced either Shiro or Gadget in next playthrough, and later Pesmerga replaced Georg.
Miklotov and Camus remain in final party consistently, because I like their sprite design much.
Then years later, I read some threads in gamefaqs, telling how broken it is for both Killey and Sheena, because of their 3 free rune slots, and how they completely outdamaged the likes of Georg and Pesmerga.
Then started importing Suikoden 1 save too so I can get McDohl and that exclusive recipe.
Then also find out Viktor and Flik are better duo stats wise compared to Miklotov and Camus. While the child me always assumed, later recruits are stronger than early game recruits.

Also you're advising slaves to accept that they are slaves for example?
In think this statement can become pretty dangerous to a person's wellbeing if misunderstood.
